A significant boost in torque tipped by carbon tailpipes represent the highlight of the Swiss tuner’s latest project.
Swiss tuning house Sportec has introduced a new aftermarket package for the BMW X6 dubbed the SP6 X, which includes a significant boost in power. By improving the air intake and molesting the ECU, Sportec managed to eke out 370 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque, up from 300 hp and 300 lb-ft. The 3.0-liter oil-burning V6 can now sprint from 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds, an improvement of 1.1 seconds over the stock X6 diesel, and can hit a top speed of 164 mph, up from 130 mph.
