Video: Meet the Monster 1200hp Dodge Ram 3500 Truck

When it comes to insane trucks, this is up there with the best of them.

Nicknamed Optimus, this heavily modified Dodge Ram 3500 is the proud property of car collector Dave, who, along with his wife, owns a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder LP570-4 Performante, a Lamborghini Murcielago LP670 SV, a Porsche Panamera Turbo and a BMW M6; the latter of which features in the film leading the blacked-out animal astray. The monster truck is powered by a twin turbocharged Cummins diesel engine that produces a hefty 1,200hp and a staggering 2,000lb-ft of torque.

It would be nice to see the beast being taken to the limit or simply pulling something heavy, but this video, courtesy of Robert Himler, will have to suffice for the time being.
