Hartge Tunes the BMW 1-Series

Hartge returns with an aftermarket program for the BMW 1-Series.

BMW specialists Hartge has released their latest aftermarket program focused on the 1-Series. Known in-house as the F20, the Bimmer by Hartge received a nice body kit and a bit of added power. In terms of performance, Hartge has revamped the German hatch's 116 diesel for a total output of 142hp and 229 lb-ft of torque. The slightly more powerful 118 diesel has been tweaked for outputs of 174hp and 280 lb-ft of torque while the top of the line powerplant, the 120 diesel, cranks out 218hp and 332lb-ft of torque.

For an aggressive stance, Hartge has lowered the suspension by 30mm and added a set of sporty 19-inch aluminum wheels. A sports exhaust system has also been added. The interior features velour floor mats for added luxury and aluminum pedals. Hartge badging is found throughout the hatch.
