Toyota Reveals Special Edition Aygo Models for UK Market

The Fire and Ice variants will hit UK showrooms with the rest of the Aygo range in March.
The 2012 Toyota Aygo has yet to hit UK showrooms, but when they do two limited editions: the Aygo Fire and Aygo Ice will also be available. Both variants are powered by a revised 1.0-liter VVT-I gasoline engine that's good for 65.7mpg and emits 99g/km. This makes the cars tax-exempt and free of the London Congestion Charge. The Fire models come with 14-inch alloys and LED daytime running lights in the lower edge of the grille.

Interior comfort is the main focus of Ice models, which feature a/c, Alcanatara and leather trim, Bluetooth connectivity and a USB port. The three-door variant of the new Toyota Aygo Fire is priced from £9,595 for the five-speed manual, and rises to £10,950 for the top-spec five door with Toyota's Multimode gearbox. Ice models range from £9,895 to £10,750, and the entire Aygo range will go on sale next month.
