BMW M135i Concept Live Shots from Geneva
Everyone loves a powerful hatchback.
It appears as if an M-badged BMW 1-Series hatchback will never make its way to the streets. Well, BMW has attempted to quench our 'desire for a BMW performance hatch' thirst by unveiling the M135i Concept at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. BMW's new concept features a 300-plus horsepower 3.0-liter turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine. The two-door hatchback's motor will most likely be paired to a six-speed manual transmission sending power to either the rear wheels or in an xDrive configuration.
The M135i Concept reveals redesigned front and rear fascias, bigger brakes and M-badged 18-inch wheels. The BMW F20 1-Series on which the M135i Concept is based hasn't made its way across the pond yet, so we are skeptical on our prospects of receiving this near production-ready concept.
