I guess they noticed how poorly received that Bentley SUV concept was and decided to give it a good long while to develop.
Isaac Rezkalla Apr 16, 2012
2017 its 5 year wtf
Description: Speaking with German business daily Handelsblatt, the CEO said "We definitely need a third line in the mid- and long term. An SUV would be the first Lamborghini for everyday use, not just for the...

And I'm not against the SUV part, because Lambo's done it before, I just think it should be a hardcore LM002 successor. Not some sissy road hugging crossover.
Jordan Smith Apr 16, 2012
Seriously? "The first Lamborghini for everyday use"? Why?! That's not what Lamborghinis are for. They're for blasting through the mountains on a Sunday morning or speeding through the city on a Saturday night. Why do they care about an everyday car?
Kevin Rehbock Apr 16, 2012
The Estoque is supposedly still being considered for production, but this luxury crossover trend has to stop.
Josh Andrews Apr 16, 2012
Dont resort to crossovers stay loyal and make a i real suv
Josh Andrews Apr 16, 2012
Umm tricked out x6 dont ever do that lambo
Timothy Hooker Apr 16, 2012
Stick to BBQ lambo...SUV aint ur thang
Cory Allen Apr 16, 2012
I like the style, but by 2017 that style will be very old . Lol
Nicholas Vincent Apr 16, 2012
My only question is.. Will it burn
Jackson Michael Apr 16, 2012
Haha I get it Zachary because if one Lambo catches on fire try all do! Yore so funny!
Aislin Cooper Apr 16, 2012
Not bad but would ruin the brand IMO. Even though the Rambo Lambo already happened
eddy Apr 16, 2012
The taillight reminds me of lincoln.
Zachary Sindelar Apr 16, 2012
Now when this one catches on fire you can kill a family instead of just two people! Bad bad
Jared Michael Scalla Apr 16, 2012
Looks pretty good to me
Description: "It usually takes 48 months until an all-new vehicle arrives at dealers, so the new Lamborghini would not be available to buy before 2017," said Winkelman. Along with Bentley, Lamborghini wi...

V10 powered SUV lol, the only way it could be better is if it sounds like the gallardo
Matthew van der Linde Apr 16, 2012
He was talking about bmw. mug.
Devin Mortenson Apr 16, 2012
It is VW group. Haven't you noticed the R8 uses the gallardos engine?!?!
Axel Larsson Apr 16, 2012
It's not built on the same platform as those. It's not VW Group.
Emilio Luelmo' Apr 16, 2012
I don't see BMW X5 in here.
Description: Any new model "must always be immediately recognizable as a Lamborghini." Let's see if the concept in Beijing lives up to such expectations.

The rear sides look like a fiat punto (old model). The front Porsche, with VW sirocco influence. Then of course the lower half Lamborghini all over. So many cars today are a mish mash of different manufactures and styles. Oh can't they just invent their own looks let the pen and the artist free to create
Jeremy Teo Apr 20, 2012
Looks like a Mazda to me
Bob Jones Apr 19, 2012
Porsche front!!!!! Look at it it is not exact but it really comes to mind
statusone Apr 18, 2012
as a purist, making suvs and hatches dilutes the mark. lambo becomes a family car but it used to be an aggressive exotic
Steven Velez Apr 17, 2012
also for an SUV you can still see Lamborghini written all over it in terms of look...for an SUV.
Thibault Leroy Apr 16, 2012
yea this will probly be pretty good and make lamborghini alot of money
Oscar Galvan Apr 16, 2012
What they are meant unfortunately
Oscar Galvan Apr 16, 2012
Why is it a bad idea. The other cars, gallardo and Aventador, will still be around. It would just increase their lineup. And with the styling it wouldn't mess their image. It's aggressive and to be honest cars like the jeep wrangler aren't used for
Michael Gallagher Apr 16, 2012
I think it's a great looking concept. But Lamborghini is a exotic sports car. Throwing an SUV in the mix could take away some of that feel. Or not. Idk. But looks wise, I think they are on to something great
Jonathan Tjandra Apr 16, 2012
I agree with eddy
eddy Apr 16, 2012
At least it looks better than the bently suv concept.
Alex Leu Apr 16, 2012
This just looks weird
Ignigena Quintus Apr 16, 2012
If I wouldnt live in a place with so many elevated pedestrian crossings I would say this is wrong.
Chris Bridgers Apr 16, 2012
could have changed the front end a bit
