Just for one minute let's think with our brains. The red viper is a hugely powerful rear driven car with a long hood and short rear. Even with its slight rear weight bias it's got the pendulum effect and no trac ctrl. The wing is to hold it down...
The GTS has an aftermarket Autoform Wing and front splitter, it's not stock in other words. The SRT10 has an aftermarket hard top, but I'm not sure who makes it

I own a 04 GTO so that's cool. Looks like a few diesel trucks which is damn cool too and if I'm not mistaken an old GMC cyclone or typhoon too. Pretty awesome line up also CTS-V wagon awesome.

Keenan you would think it was a gts r because of the color combo. Unless the guy took the red r off and took out the blue interior. Other than that it had me fooled at first. Performance was not much greater than the gts more of a commemorative
Isn't this a GTS-R? I'm too young to remember the specs. Haven't read anything about it since I was 12 and that was 12 years ago. I simply remember a massive wing and white with blue stripes.
It was a old car and driver I have on the gts vs the c5 vet. (too much viper memorabilia lying around my house. My wife thinks I am a hoarder)
Actually I bet the NSX is the slowest out of all of these except maybe the Goat.
The NSX is better to live with but you can't go wrong with the Viper either...

Different. I will let you know that the viper is very responsive in the corners I have owned a 1994 and own a 03 you will be surprisingly impressed on the all around characteristics of the viper.

I would take the viper for sure the NSX does look more exotic but is 150 hp down and does not have the racing wins like the GTS.
@ tony I'm not in any way saying the vipers a bad car performance wise... The nsx is a better all round car IMO

I find it funny everyone assumes just cause its a viper it can't handle. It actually gets around corners quite well just requires a bit more skill to maintain. Both cars a fantastic nontheless.

Yeah, but the numbers are the same. They didn't change anything between the wagon, coupe, or sedan. Basically the same car underneath.
umm dillon go read an article someone did a track test of all 3 and the wagon was faster then the others.. that would make it fater then coupe and sedan not even
@wfdowns there isn't any difference in performance, but it is more rare and are special order only. For me, it's just the thought of a 500+ HP wagon from cadillac that looks badass that makes me love this car.
what makes the wagon even better is it faster then both the coupe and sedan versions
I doubt it was a gnx then these go for like 60,000 easy. It probably was just a grand national.
Anybody notice the exhaust in front of the front tire.... Once the turbo spools up, you're only gonna see the taillights. Is an ugly hood though

@Craig I just went to the website of the guys that did this and I read they heavily modified the internals and block. What I meant was that you can't supercharge the LS7 from the factory.
Well it's good that there's actual vette lovers on this site. From recent corvette articles I saw a lot of haters commenting on them. So it's good to see another corvette guy on.

@Craig O, if you know so much then you would know that that's a LSX fast intakemanufold (like pat said) you should really look it up. YOU CAN'T SUPERCHARGE THE LS7, THE CYLINDER WALLS ARE TO THIN!!! haha and of course you can supercharge a Corvette
It looks like a vortex supercharger. And Mikey u can supercharge a vette. Trust me I'm a corvette freak so I should know.

It's probably a centrifugal supercharger. What I meant was roots and twin screw superchargers can not be put on the LS7.
You actually can. One it's been done. And two there are supercharged kits for the zo6s Ls7.
@Wf no you can't the LS7's cylinder walls are to thin. I hate when people offend others about something they don't know about. Ignorance at it's best.
but that is the intake manifold... u have to use the suercharger that looks like a turbo, whatever its called, cant use the top mount one without a bigger hood
@Craig that's not a supercharger, it's a intakemanifold. You can't supercharge a Z06.

If you still don't agree them look at the Bugatti. When going for top speed the rear wing retracts.
Clearly no one knows what rear spoilers are for. Downforce 101: a rear wing puts tremendous downforce in the back tires so when taking a "corner" at speed it aids in traction in the exit. Don't believe me? Why does f1 open the flap on the rear wing?
