Beautifully Restored Lamborghini Miuras are Too Much

Two fully restored Lamborghini Miura models are a veritable feast for the eyes.

There aren't many cars on the road that can match the Miura for styling or live with the original supercar's rebellious streak.
And it's not often you get to feast your eyes on a painstakingly restored Lamborghini Miura, let alone two of these amazing supercar specimens. The prototype Miura chassis was originally designed by Lamborghini engineers in their spare time as company founder Feruccio Lamborghini favored GT cars over racecar-derived machines for the road that Ferrari was famed for.

However, the company finally saw the potential of the' P400' and Bertone was then placed in charge of its styling, which was finished just days before it debuted at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show. It went into production the following year under the Miura moniker after Marcello Gandini's sleek styling received a stellar reception, and by 1969, 474 models had been built.

Powered by a 3.9-liter V12 engine, the original Miura managed 350hp and 262lb-ft of torque. Periodic updates resulted in the Miura S, which boasted an additional 20hp and a few creature comfort upgrades, and the last and most famous Miura, the SV, which put out 380hp and 286lb-ft. Only 150 Miura SV models were built, distinguishable by a lack of eyelashes, and the model caught here wearing a glorious coat of violet blue seems to have received a meticulous restoration.
