2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA Hits the Road and Sheds Some Cammo
The baby CLS has been spotted again.
Mercedes-Benz is still developing their baby CLS, known as the CLA class. Based on the A-Class, the four-door coupe will share its lineup of engines and should eventually see an AMG version make its way to the market. The flagship AMG model could carry a 335hp 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, good enough to rival the BMW 1-Series M Coupe. In terms of styling, the test mule CLA seen here has a bit less camouflage on since the last time we saw it.
The front-end appears to be reminiscent of the A-Class while the taillights are more pronounced. The Mercedes-Benz CLA will debut later this year, possibly at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The new Merc will launch next year as a 2014 model.
