James Bond Skyfall Trailer Featuring the Vintage Aston Martin DB5

The Aston Martin DB5 returns in Skyfall.

The official trailer for the latest installment of the James Bond series "Skyfall" has been released, and after watching the nearly minute-thirty clip we can't wait for the film to be released. One of the more notable parts of the clip is that we get to see the vintage Aston Martin DB5 Bond will be driving, first seen in the Goldfinger film from back in '64. It makes its return after appearing in 1965's Thunderball, then GoldenEye in '95, Tomorrow Never Dies in '97 and Casino Royale from 2006.

This Aston Martin DBS won't be the exact model that Sean Connery drove in Goldfinger and Thunderball as this was bought by an American at auction for $2.9 million back in 2010. The classic Aston will most assuredly be driven by Mr. Bond, played by Daniel Craig, and can be seen around 0:58 into the clip.

The new movie car has been spied with the same BMT 216A number plate it wore in Goldfinger. Racing driver and former Stig on Top Gear Ben Collins was also spotted on set in London serving as Daniel Craig's stunt driver. It is a familiar role for Collins, as he has done the job twice before in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.
