BMW M3 and M5 M Performance Editions Released in Full

The new M Performance Editions will be built by BMW M GmbH.

BMW M released a teaser video earlier this month for their M Performance Edition M3 Coupe and M5 Sedan for the UK market. The limited edition models will be produced in a run of 30 models each. In terms of exterior styling, the M3 Coupe M Performance model features the Competition Package which consists of a 10mm lowered suspension, Dark Chrome exhaust, side gills and kidney surrounds with carbon fiber front splitters complemented by a high-gloss Shadowline exterior trim.

The powerful M3 cranks out 414hp and rides on a set of 19-inch Matte Black alloy wheels. The BMW M5 Sedan M Performance model features a Dark Chrome exhaust, side gills and kidney surrounds, electric-powered trunk-lid and a reverse-assist camera. It sits on a set of 20-inch Matte Black alloy wheels. All told, the M5 special edition packs £22,075 worth of additional equipment. Both BMW M Performance models are available in three colors: BMW Individual Japan Red, Frozen White and Frozen Blue. All three colors contrast beautifully with the black interiors.

The M3 gets Black Novillo leather while the M5 receives Black Merino leather. Alcantara steering wheels, Piano Black interior trim and "One of 30" badging cut with a laser are just a few of the perks the M Performance models get. Pricing for the BMW M3 Coupe M Performance Edition starts at £74,080 while the M5 Sedan M Performance Edition starts at £95,140. Both models are available for purchase now, though they are limited to the UK market only.
