Marussia B2 is Officially Sold Out

Russia's latest supercar has already been sold out before production even started.

We've been fans of the Marussia B2 ever since we first laid eyes on it. And for anyone interested in picking one up for themselves, they'd better hope their order has already been placed. According to reports, some 500 pre-orders have already been placed for the Russian supercar. This effectively is the entire B2 production run Marussia had planned for. As we've reported previously, the B2 won't be built in Russia, but in Finland.

Production is scheduled to take place in Valmet, where the Fisker Karma and previous Porsche Boxster were built under license. The B2 is available in a few different configurations, but all are powered by the same 3.5-liter Cosworth V6. The base B2 has 300hp and the most expensive version has an output of 420hp, which sends it from 0 to 60 mph in only 3.2 seconds. Sources also stated that the car has a base price of €100,000, which will return revenue of some €50,000,000 for Marussia. Let's hope they put that money to good use not only towards development of a new supercar, but also for their struggling F1 team.
