Description: By this point, we all know what the new Aston Martin Vanquish looks like. Only yesterday did we receive a great set of spy shots showing the new grand tourer sans camouflage taking some laps around th...

50/50 is becoming the norm rather than the exception in today's sports cars.
Benjamin Davidson Jun 20, 2012
Probably 50/50 with a full tank of gas.
Jesse Andersen Jun 20, 2012
50/50 weight distribution with the engine in the front? Sounds hard to believe but I'll take their word for it.
Pompey Paul Jun 22, 2012
Bare carbon would be better
Scott Westphall Jun 21, 2012
Yes Please. I'll take one. Make it black.
Steven Velez Jun 21, 2012
the car looks great but the lighting on the car brings the unwanted image of an oiled up male stripper to mind...not a pretty picture haha nonetheless car itself is quite beautiful
Conor Oprins Jun 21, 2012
That is so much better looking then the DBS The color is great too
Matt Silva Jun 21, 2012
Love it! Especially the splitter. I always though those used to be a design weakness, but now it is perfect.
Kyle Kloewer Jun 21, 2012
Looks fantastic, but not in brown haha
Ken Naasz Jun 21, 2012
Wow - near perfect proportions and exquisite detailing. Nice, very nice.
Trent Griffin Jun 20, 2012
Very hot!....177 hot
Alex Vasquez Jun 20, 2012
Wow the carbon fiber is amazing, gotta have it!
Kai Andrew Carlson Jun 20, 2012
Over the last year I've really come to appreciate and respect Aston...then they come out with this...I'm floored, absolutely amazing!!! If I could I would have one!!
Clint Edwards Jun 20, 2012
Oh my. That looks amazing, I didn't like how Aston's designs didn't vary much but damn. I think I like this more than the One-77
Nicholas James Oswald Jun 20, 2012
This is an INSANELY BEAUTIFUL piece of machinery... Point blank period.
Zach Pate Jun 20, 2012
I don't like Astons, but this is amazing.
David Pires-Ihsaan Jun 20, 2012
Sloping rear, rear engine-rear wheel drive, cicular headlights, among others..
John Serely Jun 20, 2012
By similar, I mean they have the similar styling features that make them look similar, such as the grill in astons or the headlights in 911's
John Serely Jun 20, 2012
I get what your saying, but astons are nearly as similar 911's...kinda
John Serely Jun 20, 2012
@david the 66 to the current one? Um...by close, do you mean it has four wheels and 6 cylinders? Because the '66 911 to the 991 911 do not look that close at all, if you know why your talking about. they look similar the old ones, but so do astons.
David Pires-Ihsaan Jun 20, 2012
Not to mention how distant the '80s vantage is from the new one.. Or the lagonda from the rapide..
David Pires-Ihsaan Jun 20, 2012
'66 porsche 911 is close in looks to the new one. The DB5 looks nothing like this...
Matthew Midgley Jun 20, 2012
This is a brilliant car I just love it It would look nice in black or White
Jordan Jackson Jun 20, 2012
I like Aston, but they seriously need to make their cars easier to tell apart... Lol
Michael Weber Jun 20, 2012
Absolutely beautiful.
Jason Brower Jun 20, 2012
That new lip... It's beautiful
Danny Gonzalez Jun 20, 2012
I want! I live the looks of this beautiful car!
Peter Mark Gacek Jun 20, 2012
There's a reason why the designs of Porsche, Aston Martin, and cars like the Mercedes G Class change very little over the years: they are just too darn good to throw away.
Ken Louise Jun 20, 2012
I'm probably not going to get any love for this but I like the DBS more in terms of looks. Don't get me wrong, this car is still stunning but the DBS appeals to me more.
Isaac Taylor Jun 20, 2012
Aston Martin hasn't done something THIS exciting since the 1-77
Bijan Jahanpanah Jun 20, 2012
Totally agree with u Mazz
mitch powell Jun 20, 2012
because astons dont look the same...
John Serely Jun 20, 2012
That looks awesome! Well done, Aston Martin
Maaz Mansoor Jun 20, 2012
Looks the same as the virage.everyone complains abt 911s looking the same nut never about Aston martins looking the same
Luke Purdy Jun 20, 2012
Best looking car
Tanton Stoneman Jun 20, 2012
But I love the design
Tanton Stoneman Jun 20, 2012
I'm not liking the brown car photos...
Colby Church Jun 20, 2012
It's very sexy, Aston Martin did a great job with the evolution of their car. Subtle but noticeable changes keep this car fresh looking and still instantly recognizable as the new Vanquish.
Redge Diakité Jun 20, 2012
It really looks perfect (normal it's an Aston :D)
Description: Thing is, besides from the all-new sheetmetal, which is absolutely gorgeous, the car is built on an updated version of the DBS's platform. Although it's not entirely new, Aston Martin gave i...

Description: Size wise, the Vanquish has the same wheelbase length as the DBS, but it's grown in size a bit by being 5mm wider and 14mm taller. All told, it weighs 3,834 lbs. - 120 lbs. less than the DBS. Add...

Noah Gavurin Jul 16, 2012
beacuse astons are all about traditional nauturally aspirated engines
Joshua Rutkowski Jun 21, 2012
Why not just add a turbo charger to the original V12 engine used in the 1st gen Vanquish if they want to keep the heritage?
Kyle Kloewer Jun 21, 2012
@jack to make Jeremy Clarckson fit or people like him who might buy one
Kyle Kloewer Jun 21, 2012
Oh the gear box, please let the driver shift down when he pleases haha they probably fixed that though
Abraham Mendoza Jun 20, 2012
You make it sound like its easy.
Justin Routh Jun 20, 2012
@Jack its a GT car not a supercar
Jack Nicholas Connor Jun 20, 2012
Why'd they make it taller? I don't understand why they have a hard time reaching over 200 mph and a 0-60 time under 3.4 seconds with a V12 engine
Joshua Adams Jun 20, 2012
I was trying to avoid being attacked, but SLS for me too. Without comparison for the up coming GT and blackseries models. The SLS just speaks badass in multiple languages (ages).
David Pires-Ihsaan Jun 20, 2012
This weighs around 1500lbs. to 2 tons...
Zachary Maurer Jun 20, 2012
@john, DONT QUESTION THE ASIAN...lol, I love the sls, but I have always loved astons, no exceptions here
Kyle Rowland Jun 20, 2012
I still hope they will bring back a six speed manual
John Serely Jun 20, 2012
Alright, tony. I get what your saying
John Serely Jun 20, 2012
The v12 vantage is the most comparable Aston to the SLS. and in that case, I would have to drive both, but I would most likely the SLS.
John Serely Jun 20, 2012
Same here Carlton, but that is (no offense) a terrible comparison. This or the ff? This or the f12? This or the lfa? Those are the real competitors, your comparison is like this to a gallardo, or a 911 to a SLK. 4 seat gt car to a 2 seat supercar is not really comparable.
Alex Santaspirt Jun 20, 2012
Astons are so heavy
Carlton Salmon Jun 20, 2012
I'd buy this over a Mercedes SLS without a moments hesitation.
John Serely Jun 20, 2012
@tony well, yea. They are different types of cars. The sls is a gt car, but it also acts as a great supercar, for less money. This is a full-blown gt car, and is not meant for lap times
Joshua Adams Jun 20, 2012
Less torque and more weight too. Don't think it'll out perform the SLS, but GT's aren't about lap times anyhow. I think you can only compare the two in a test drive. Way too much character from those two to be chosen by looks alone.
Trent Griffin Jun 20, 2012
That is a sexy profile!
Travis Prinya Hood Jun 20, 2012
Great over all. Not digging the wheels ( both the steering wheel and the rims)
Logan Delony Jun 20, 2012
Another beautiful Aston, once again!
Description: It can go from 0 to 62 mph in 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 183 mph. The DBS did both in 4.3 seconds and 190 mph, respectively. Yes, top speed has gone down a bit which is somewhat unusual for a ...

Kyle Kloewer Jun 21, 2012
@abraham that's what a GT car is... Well kinda this is really luxurious though
Cooper Branham Jun 20, 2012
It could have gone down because of the size difference and aero. Although that shouldn't make that much of a difference, it could have contributed.
Abraham Mendoza Jun 20, 2012
Supercar? I'd say luxury sports car.
David Pires-Ihsaan Jun 20, 2012
They did have a vanquish s in the last generation soooo....
Stan Mitchell Jun 20, 2012
I'd loooooove to see a Vanquish Sport version.
Ghee Buttersnaps Jun 20, 2012
@Jv 0-60 is mostly determined by the cars launch. IMO, 0-100-0 would be the best measure of real world performance
Jv Jun 20, 2012
0-60 times are probably a better way to tell real world performance.
Jv Jun 20, 2012
I bet top speed is of no concern for most of their customers because most people will never bring these to a track anyway.
Ghee Buttersnaps Jun 20, 2012
I bet it's that piece of crap automatic gear box. If I'm not mistaken, the DBS only went 190 with the 6MT
Carlton Salmon Jun 20, 2012
Maybe there's a more hardcore DBS-like version of this car in the pipeline?
Luke Purdy Jun 20, 2012
Wonder why they put the top does down?.... Possibly a new superior coming their way?
Thibault Leroy Jun 20, 2012
yeah i seeing all the work they put into it i expected better performance numbers
Luke Cottam Jun 20, 2012
odd that weight has decreased, power has increased yet top speed is down! whilst it's irrelevant at those speeds anyway, I wonder if it's down to gearing, a higher cD or both?
Description: Speaking of the One-77, it's evidently clear Aston Martin opted to (wisely) take many styling cues from their now out of production supercar. You can still tell that the Vanquish is an evolution ...

Very sleek, I love Astons. I'm glad Ford isn't their design team
Kai Andrew Carlson Jun 20, 2012
They just keep getting better. Mmmm car porn!
Clint Edwards Jun 20, 2012
I like what they did with the lights, kinda looks like they incorporated the wings from the logo
Kelun Wang Jun 20, 2012
I agree with Logan. I love the one-77 tails but overall this car is gorgeous!
Bob Jones Jun 20, 2012
I don't like that spoiler at all, but everything else looks amazing
Justin Pedoto Jun 20, 2012
This is ow my favorite car.
Logan Delony Jun 20, 2012
I kind of would rather have one-77 tail lights but these are still good
Jv Jun 20, 2012
Nice, gotta love those tail lights.
Faiz Noorani Jun 20, 2012
Probably the best looking Aston ever
Victor Takhanov Jun 20, 2012
Favorite view of the car.
John Serely Jun 20, 2012
The tail light look great
Ghaith AL-sharari Jun 20, 2012
Wow that is beautiful

@some don't, and some Ferraris sound even better(599 GTO).
Matthew Crighton Jun 20, 2012
The sound of a farrari doesnt even compare to this beast.
Alex Vasquez Jun 20, 2012
Wow That's all I can say..
Andy-Elly Moyes Jun 20, 2012
Ferrari sure doesn't sound like that!
Charlie Austin Jun 20, 2012
Nothing compared to Ferrari unveil videos.
Description: The 2013 Vanquish will arrive in European showrooms in late 2012 and the first U.S. deliveries will be in early 2013. Pricing will start at $279,995 in the U.S.

Noah Gavurin Jul 16, 2012
the aston is cheaper and has much more class
Noah Gavurin Jul 16, 2012
the LFA is 100k more
Christo Savaides Jun 21, 2012
J.D. Power and Associates just rated Lexus as the number one manufacturer in vehicle quality. So what were you saying about the quality of Lexus?
Phillip Holbrook Jun 21, 2012
Bobs comparison was equally as stupid. The two cars are geared toward two different markets. GTR vs.Vanquish I'd still choose the Vanquish money not being a factor.
Ramaury Rodriguez Jun 20, 2012
David that was such a stupid comparison. Wow
Alex Vasquez Jun 20, 2012
Hmm history might not matter but the name has a higher class, and makes you look better as well. And does have better quality, by all means what so ever
David Pires-Ihsaan Jun 20, 2012
Would your rather have a nissan micra or a v12 vantage?!?
Bob Jones Jun 20, 2012
I agree with Williams. Would you rather have an Aston Martin Cygnet or a Nissan GTR?
William Downs Jun 20, 2012
i personally dont care what a car company has done i dont let there past dictate what cars i like. there are alot of normal cars i would take over alot of supercars. a name is a name dosnt mean to much to me, my prefference is decided by performance and looks not the brand
William Downs Jun 20, 2012
so what if its a lexus, i think it looks better and is a better track.car, but if the price of this was better wouldnt mind it.
Phillip Holbrook Jun 20, 2012
Pretty sure the LFA is already sold out too so you'd only find a used one.
Walker Carroll Jun 20, 2012
If you buy the Lexus, you get a Lexus. If you buy the Aston, you get an Aston. The brand is very valuable
William Downs Jun 20, 2012
holy crap thats expensive, id reather buy the lfa but damn this is crazy nice looking though, i like the subtle changes around the body. and i dont really like astons outside the 177
Alanda Burroughs Jun 25, 2012
Too many textures on the seats. Astons are usually top-tier in interior designs, and even though this is no pig...I feel like they tried too hard to make this different that the out-going model. Cut back on the textures and this could be a cool interior.
William Downs Jun 21, 2012
cause its still a beautiful interior, so nice i actually wouldent mind that color cause its so nice, but darker color for me
Abraham Mendoza Jun 20, 2012
I have to agree its too much of one color, why Aston CHOSE to make this is baffling.
William Downs Jun 20, 2012
no shit, im just stating an opinion
Abraham Mendoza Jun 20, 2012
That center stack looks so much better than the last car.
Zachary Maurer Jun 20, 2012
@william...ummmm it's not like ur forced to get that color... And plus if you are if you can afford a $300,000$ car, then you could probably get a darker interior
Jack Howard Jun 20, 2012
I want to sit in those seats
Bryan Garza Jun 20, 2012
Then get a different color
William Downs Jun 20, 2012
that interior is beautiful but i.cant stand the color, i absolutly hate light colored interiors specially cream colored
Matt White Jun 20, 2012
No active ventilation?
Carlton Salmon Jun 20, 2012
Doesn't get much better than that...
Dan Marino Jun 20, 2012
Sweet Jesus that's a beautiful interior
Noah Gavurin Jul 16, 2012
its the lack of standard transmission and a more sweeping center console that makes this weird for me
Alanda Burroughs Jun 25, 2012
I guess I should love this new interior...but I'm not feeling it compared to the old. It just doesn't have that same feeling of luxury like the outgoing car has. Maybe it's the all-black center section...I don't know.
