2.0 four cylinder makes it rally race able... if anyone wants to race their merc that is haha. better than a v6 for a hot hatch
It won't be the first time Amg uses a 4 pot remember the 80's 190e Amg Cosworth 2.3 16valve
The problem is, AMG probably can't fit a 6 cylinder engine into the engine bay. Still a shame that it's four cylinders...

Hatchbacks are great. Good little cars. They look good. They're nice to drive and Im quite happy to have one. If you lived in Europe you'd understand. In the same way I can't understand why you guys love big cheaply built cars.
@dustin: the idea of a hot hatchback is practicality and performance, not just practicality. And a truck only provides one of those.
have fun trying to turn in a truck. but I drive a BMW z3 m coupe so I have the luxury of a hatch back and the speed of an e46 m3. it doesn't really get much better than that.
Trucks are better than hatches. Get a quad cab and you have way more room.
What about Canada? Is it coming here? We loooovvvveee hot hatches
