That grill is one of the best looking parts of the truck. And the beadlocks are just an option. Don't have to get em.
Jason, I don't want to rain on your parade, but if the beadlocks made it so I couldn't drive it in Kali, I'd be OK with that. Still a very nice truck even if it isn't a chopped up BMW ... :-P

Am I the only one who thinks bead locks are a terrible idea? Unless the car never touched the road it can't go to California, bead locks are super heavy, there's a ton more road noise, and every jeep and truck already has fake bead lock wheels on.

@Igor it's an all terrain truck, HP doesn't really matter, what's more important is gearing and Torque. I wouldn't really want any more HP than it already has.
That's weak, the f series 3.5turbo has 420 tq and 375 hp. I know it's turbo but u get the best of both worlds , power and economy. Chip it and u have same output as raptor.
No mopar truck is comparable with this RAPTOR.. Nobody has this name and looks and power and abilities

I really don't like f150s having a Eco boost v6. I think a full size truck should have a v8 for sure.

Umm have you seen what Ford trucks have compared to GM? Lets see... Fords entry level v8 = 5.0L 360hp and 380lb ft. GMs= 4.8 piece of junk and 5.3L 315hp and 330lb ft

I work for Chrysler Jeep Dodge and I've seen SO many people trade in their F150s and F250s for the new Rams. They are freakin amazing. A Laramie Longhorn is one of the nicest trucks you can buy right now.
"The new cummins are garbage" a quote from a diesel mechanic that I know. He also said the dirtymax is better after you put on aftermarket injectors. He didn't know enough about the new power stroke to form an opinion though

I've seen the Ram Runner, it's not production Ford has never had a diesel that can top the Cummins...and the Ram is available with a manual tranny
Its kinda obvious that Ford is better than Ram as of now. Ford has a much better array of engines ranging from their base line 5.0L to their 6.7L diesel
Ram Power Wagon isn't as fast off-road, but it's more versatile....and the standard winch sway-bar disconnect, and lockers will get you outta more tight places than some bead locks with AT tires...

I don't know a lot about trucks but what i hear always is that Ford makes the best ones. I would also love to have a Raptor or the Harley Davidson edition one.

Yeah when you air down it creates a bigger contact patch for maximum traction. Unfortunately I think beadlocks are illegal in Oklahoma. I doubt you would get a ticket for them though

That silver ring on the outside edge of the wheel is the bead lock...it essentially bolts the bead of the tire to the wheel...
When driving off-road it is helpful to "air-down", reducing tire pressure, allowing the tire carcass to flex over rocks and give you better traction. Normal wheels can safely run tire pressures around 12-18psi. bead locks can allow single digit pressures, sometimes below 5psi.
