The M400 is the racer version of the M12. They look very much the same except for the engine, brakes and the air scoop on the side behind the door.

You got me wondering, so I looked into it: "The solar array is used to power nearby Dunsfold Business Park." - The Internet. I suspect the Top Gear test track is always wet because England is a rainy hellscape.

those solar panels in the back? Are they used to power the huge blowers to dry off the track? The track seems to be wet 70% of the time on TG.
