Ugh...I hate this idea...but I'm definitely not anywhere near the market segment for this monstrosity, so you guys are right. They don't care what I think.
Korli Jorlk Jul 11, 2012
Car company cares about not only people who wants it but also be able afford to own the car they don't really care people comments on the carbuzz
Terrance Parker Jul 10, 2012
Still working what's taking so long? You have had this thing on the drawing board for years and it hasnt changed. I say you fire everyone on this project and start over.
Harold Zabady Jul 10, 2012
Boys, you better rethink this design. It's very ugly too heavy looking.Paint some camouflage on it and it will look like a military vehicle. You better contact the Italians for a lesson in automotive design.
Christian De Prisco Jul 10, 2012
Btw I think that BMW did it first with the x5, the others just followed and did so successfully....then they brought us the x6, so it will be nice to see if the new segment will catch up ad I see the urus more like the x6 than a common suv
Alex Stanzel Jul 10, 2012
Car companies don't really care what the people want, or how their brand looks. If it sells they're gonna keep making it. Which is why Porsche has made so much money.
John Serely Jul 10, 2012
@doug you are talking about the cayenne, which actually is a very good car
Crazybonbon Obobo Jul 10, 2012
YES THE CYGNET WAS ENOUGH, DON'T RUIN YOUR BRAND NAME!
Jordan Jackson Jul 10, 2012
NOOO! Don't do it Aston! It's a trap!
Wyatt Gordon Jul 11, 2012
Jordan, i think the bwntley is much better looking
Jordan Clegg Jul 10, 2012
Much better than the Bentley at least on the outside!
Zach Sullivan Jul 10, 2012
@danyaal I agree I haven't seen one of these suv's that look good and I think the problem is they don't really come up with a unique design for the suv but instead they shorten and fatten up a supercar design which looks terrible IMO
Moe Sargi Jul 10, 2012
I think its looks agressive and it has potential in the tuner world. Looks great make this plz
Danyaal Farooq Jul 10, 2012
These super car makers shouldn't be making SUVs in the first place IMO
Zach Sullivan Jul 10, 2012
say it ain't so aston!!!
Ryan Delano Thomas Jul 10, 2012
Looks like a saab
Lukas Hellstr´┐Żm Jul 10, 2012
looks like a evoque with a weird back
Carlton Salmon Jul 10, 2012
If you're reading this Aston Martin, please get Henrik Fisker to design it.
Matt Piccolo Jul 10, 2012
This is just plain ugly!! Common Aston, we all know u can do better!!' :s
Caribbeanenthusiast Jul 10, 2012
It looks like they are competing with Bentley for ugliest position in the SUV category.
Taylor Aspinwall Jul 10, 2012
Holy crap that is ugly
Mathias Henz Jul 10, 2012
looks shit, but its not finished now is it even confirmed?
Jack Howard Jul 10, 2012
I am very much on the fence with these super expensive SUVs
John Gomez Jul 10, 2012
Kill it before it lays eggs
Sam Oglesby Jul 10, 2012
I hope they never make an suv they are but ugly and only used by soccer moms and idiots
Stephen Cobbs Jul 10, 2012
Yeah Aston keep working on it...please
Abraham Mendoza Jul 10, 2012
It's got some weird design characters. That rear end, and the front grill. I bet it'll be a fine cruiser though.
Jt Collier Jul 10, 2012
I personally believe it to be rather nice looking aside from the rear overhang. Much better looking than a merc ML, Cayenne, or Q7
Zachary Maurer Jul 10, 2012
Honestly looking at this as a Lux cruser, it dosent look half bad, I would drive this if I had a family of 4 and wanted a "GT SUV"
Aaron Cartwright Jul 10, 2012
This just doesn't make sense, they go from making some of the most beautiful cars on the planet, to this!
Jordan Jackson Jul 10, 2012
At least that looked like a Bentley, this looks like a blown up Aston with full body elephantiatis...

This car will be a boon to aston
Zachary Maurer Jul 10, 2012
Sooo what u guys, you know how many car company's share platforms, engines, and transmissions, this is no different
Ryan Delano Thomas Jul 10, 2012
The v12 should be a must
Thibault Leroy Jul 10, 2012
i get that theyre trying to reduce cost but this will end up being just an aston martin badged mercedes
Dan Ruth Jul 10, 2012
Why?, pagani uses merc engines, it doesn't make them any less unique. Also this will probably be the most produced aston model you can think of, so to save money why not use merc bodies and engines.
Michael Douglas Jul 10, 2012
This is the last of aston martin. This merc based suv will destroy the company. Aston should either bud it from scratch or scratch the idea altogether
Description: Launching a new luxury brand is never easy - just ask Mercedes about Maybach - which is why the British automaker has yet to confirm whether they will risk resurrecting the Lagonda badge or simply mar...

Do not build this
Lead Peddalin Jul 11, 2012
I like Wyatt's use of profanity. It really makes him sound intelligent.
Wyatt Gordon Jul 11, 2012
Its a good looking car, but it sort of lacks that sense of insanity that supercars are meant to have
Wyatt Gordon Jul 11, 2012
Its probably quite large in person
Wyatt Gordon Jul 11, 2012
@brian, because the honda is actually cool, and the design actually works. This doesnt work and is just ugly. Jt, good one bro, i did overreact there
Matthew Basmadjian Jul 10, 2012
The blind spots are a 3rd problem...
Matthew Basmadjian Jul 10, 2012
The only two thongs I don't like are the lack of the traditional Aston grill at the fromt and the too-plain trunk... Otherwise, I'm sure it is great!
Michael J Solimene Jul 10, 2012
It's pretty nice
Chris Bullock Jul 10, 2012
@Jt hahaha good one
Jt Collier Jul 10, 2012
Also I'm sure Aston Martin will see your comment and be so intimidated by your use of caps lock and profanity that they halt all further development of any SUV or crossover projects. Good job.
Jt Collier Jul 10, 2012
It sticks to the overall design language of the brand. I don't see why most are throwing a fit. It is being redesigned anyways. These days it's hard for a company to run off of only GT and super cars so I see it as simply a necessary addition to a
Tobias Mersinger Jul 10, 2012
The rear kinda looks like the Saab X-4. At least the c-pillar. IMO this car looks horrible from every angle...
Casper Due Hansen Jul 10, 2012
Definitely seeing some Evoque, but that's not a bad thing.. I'm liking it
Danny Reed Jul 12, 2012
It's called a rumble seat btw :)
Matt Greenlee Jul 11, 2012
Oh dear GOD thats ugly
Jordan Clegg Jul 10, 2012
Haha I forgot about the hideous back end
Michael Dunn Jul 10, 2012
Wht the hell is wrong with designers
Hoang Ton Jul 10, 2012
M series side vents. Bentley tail end. BMW rims. oie
Danyaal Farooq Jul 10, 2012
Oh god this is just horrific
Carlton Salmon Jul 10, 2012
Just when I thought it couldn't look any worse...
Sam Oglesby Jul 10, 2012
Damn that thing is ugly
Jt Collier Jul 10, 2012
The rear is by far the cars weakest point. It doesn't flow as I agree, it needs the vanquish/DB tail lights
Ashen Fonseka Jul 10, 2012
Doesn't have the Aston tail lamps
Ashen Fonseka Jul 10, 2012
Puke away did they do in the back
Zachary Maurer Jul 10, 2012
Then there is the blind spot(s)
John Serely Jul 10, 2012
Haha nice visibility
Dylan Bruder Jul 10, 2012
Such an ugly car
Denys Lukiyanchuk Aug 22, 2012
Get more ideas you make 17 cars put them together some way
Denys Lukiyanchuk Aug 22, 2012
Think I'm going to barf
Miles Drinkwater Jul 11, 2012
Don't do it Aston! It's a mess
Matt Piccolo Jul 10, 2012
Wow... That's pretty darn ugly!
Ryan Delano Thomas Jul 10, 2012
Back is reminiscent of a rolls phantom mark II
Carlton Salmon Jul 10, 2012
There's a hint of Rolls Royce Phantom here IMO.
Chris Bullock Jul 10, 2012
I like the back more than the front
Jack Howard Jul 10, 2012
Umm are they serious with this design? Haha
Danny Gonzalez Jul 10, 2012
The front is ok but the back is terribly ugly
Wyatt Gordon Jul 10, 2012
This is so goddam hideous!
Jay Kolvenbag Jul 10, 2012
You just cant do that
Josh Andrews Jul 10, 2012
Come on aston you've went so long without making an down right ugly car so dont stop now...
Casper Due Hansen Jul 10, 2012
That rear is a no-go Aston... You can do that better.... I hope so
Jordan Clegg Jul 10, 2012
Bentley is definitely much better.
Carlton Salmon Jul 10, 2012
It may have bearded seats but at least you can't see the bodywork from them.
Sam Oglesby Jul 10, 2012
What the hells going on with those seats
Jack Howard Jul 10, 2012
Well at least when you come inside theres something to like
Crazybonbon Obobo Jul 10, 2012
What's with the passion of the Christ headrests?
