Maybach's are quite possibly the ugliest cars ever made, but inside they are close to being the nicest cars ever made. I personally believe the Rolls Royce Ghost is nicer though
The only thing that was really great about this car IMO was the rear seat, the front seat as well as the exterior of the car looked ugly and outdated. But I guess the rear seat is the only thing that matters in a car like this.

The mulsanne is great .. Not everything crap top gear says is true .. The mulsanne is far superior for their tiny minds to understand
as ugly as it is. i love them. we had a black on black 57s, the car was beautiful and believe it or not maybachs are built on their own chassis

An example I can't figure out is gmc and Chevrolet trucks and SUVs. Why are they the exact same except for grilles etc?
@connor yea a couple days a ago, I saw a 57s and a 62next to a Phantom. The maybachs are eye catching, but the rolls is on a completely different level.
badge engineering is pretty widespread throughout the automotive industry. maybach ( modern ones anyway ) are a pretty bad example of it, but there are much, much worse...

These vehicles are built in Germany so they use metric system. 57= 5.7 meters or 57 decimeters. Roughly 18.25 feet. 62 = 19.84 feet. Aprox The number stands for decimeters. Think outside your American box :)
Although it doesn't represent feet, it does have something to do with length.

The phantom looks more boss, but I'd take a Maybach over a phantom.
How is this nice? The gauges look like they're from the early 90's, the centre console is crowded with buttons and unorganized, and this is probubly just me cuz I don't like it in any car, theres too much wood
car should have been impeccable in nearly every way. Theres no way an interior like that can compete with a RR.
It's like they mixed the outdated components of the last generation s class with the center console and added in some current s class features like the all digital dash. Stupid combo. Should have really really stepped it up for a car this price the

Being that I am 6'9" and had the pleasure of relaxing in the back of one of these for the better part of a year, the space IS needed. Research doesn't have to be done when experience is involved.
