Peyton Manning Audibles in the 2013 Buick Verano

NFL quarterback calls the shots in new Buick ad campaign.

Buick is targeting the male demographic with its new Verano sedan with a fresh promotional campaign. The first installment of involved retired NBA star Shaquille O'Neal and continued last night during the 2012 ESPN ESPY Award Show. The new spot involves the Denver Bronco's star quaterback Peyton Manning running through a gambit of audible calls while cruising around in the 2013 Verano.

The Verano co-stars alongside Manning in the new spot, highlighting a voice-activation system new to the model. Check out the behind-the-scenes clip below starring Manning and the 2013 Verano.

Manning said of his relationship with the Verano's voice activation system, "I don't talk in normal language. I'm constantly signaling and barking play calls at the line of scrimmage and I do that in my everyday life. Well, I think it's definitely easier to call audibles in the Verano as opposed to the line of scrimmage because after I call audibles in the Verano, I don't get hit in the back!" The 2013 Buick Verano features an efficient 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine option. Advanced safety features have been added to improve the allure of the new sedan, such as standard rear-view camera and available crash-avoidance technologies.
