Mansory Decks Out Lamborghini Aventador in Carbonado

Mansory makes good use of carbon fiber on their latest Aventador project.

Stirring the pot, specialists Mansory are back again with another take on the Aventador. The Lamborghini flagship has been customized before by the German tuning company, with a bold red project unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. Their latest program features extensive use of carbon in their Black Diamond trim along with some added power. Appropriately dubbed the Carbonado, Mansory's latest project looks fit for Batman himself.

The jet-black beauty features a new carbon fiber front fascia with optimized air intakes, LED daytime driving lights and new front lip for an imposing look. Carbon fiber is also the material of choice for the new hood, side sills, rear bumper with integrated diffuser and larger rear wing. The Carbonado Aventador rides on a set of forged lightweight wheels (complete, of course, with carbon inlays) measuring 20 inches in the front and 21 in the back. Mansory also remapped the ECU in the Aventador Carbonado and fitted it with a bespoke high-performance exhaust to produce over 750 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque from its 6.5-liter V12 engine -up fro 691 hp and 509 lb-ft stock.

Those impressive figures represent gains of over 60 horsepower and over 40 pound-feet of torque from its ‘standard' form. Performance-wise, the Aventador now blasts off the line from 0-62mph in a scintillating 2.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 220mph. Compared to the stock version's 2.9 second dash to 62mpm and top-end run of 217mph, Mansory's work is incredibly well done. Mansory's special edition Lamborghini will be produced in a limited run of only six units. Check out the badass-in-black Aventador Carbonado in the photos below.
