I am a BMW fan for life. I have an 05 330i w/150k on it now and it drives so smooth. A lot of torque and I think it definitely drives better that a lot of the current cars out there.

@ Matt. You have an '01 E39 M5? You're so lucky. I've driven one and it's the only BMW I'd still want to buy over any other, including the current range. I have an '86 E24 M6 which I've owned over 19 years and would never sell. I'd love an E39 M5.

if you were to cut me open, you would see a chrome ///M over my heart. i sincerely love these cars and what theyre capable of. i have an 01 M5 and i wouldnt trade it for anything (even though the gf doesnt like it too much)
