Puneet DassJul 07, 2012 The majority of the worlds oil comes from the middle east. Their fuel prices are ridiculously cheap. If I lived there I wouldn't care about Mpg
Jason RosasJul 06, 2012 @mikey paid $3.54 in San Jose. It's all about that lucky rewards card!
Matt PiccoloJul 05, 2012 And our prices have been going up dramatically... A year and a half ago mabye 2 years ago it was 90 cents a liter which is like $3.20 a gallon :(
Matt PiccoloJul 05, 2012 We pay like 1.15-1.20a liter not far from toronto... So that's like $4 a gallon
Tim PreisingerJul 05, 2012 It's about 3.65 in NY right now. It has also went down the past month or so
Mike UlickeyJul 05, 2012 Dang 8-10 a gallon is high. It's 3.85 near Chicago and that is lower than a few weeks ago so I'm happy.
Thibault LeroyJul 05, 2012 wow in France its about 2 euros a liter so about 10 dollars a gallon
Robert YoungJul 05, 2012 $3.04 in Dallas. We're way below
Aaron CrispJul 05, 2012 So today muscle cars are "As American as it gets" but yesterday the Toyota Camry was the most American car on yesterday's article. Just thought that was funny. Cars.com sucks.
Tobias MersingerJul 05, 2012 U guys complain bout gas prices? We pay atm roughly 2 dollars a litre, thats what...? 8 dollars the gallon, kind of...? Drive that big ass V8's as long as you can!
Colin DzendoletJul 05, 2012 they pay like $.50/gal there, think they care about mpgs?
James Jay PutnamJul 05, 2012 Oklahoma is $2.90 -$3.30 which is below the avg around the US which my guess is about $3.80
Jesus Alberto LopezJul 05, 2012 Lucky bastards -.-
Us over here can't even find a classic muscle cause they're mostly taken by people who just won't sell them.
Anyways this article was awsome.
Doe JohnJul 05, 2012 I doubt gas prices are very high there...
Phillip GreeneJul 06, 2012 Looks are.important and.there.also subjective I personaly feel that and thing with a kidney grill is a steamimg pile of shit but thats just me
Keaton SchelirJul 06, 2012 I liked the styling of the Firebird better than the Camaro's at this point, but the Camaro was the one with the better options and bigger engines.
Jackson MichaelJul 06, 2012 I don't get how the same people who call the Veyron ugly think this is good looking. To me looks are an important part of choosing a car and I'd definitely pass this one over.
Greg LewisJul 06, 2012 People don't realize how long these cars were, and as for handling... Well for the technology at the time, they were great (compared to ford) now with aftermarket, they eat corners like I do bacon! :)
Patrick SchalkJul 05, 2012 Ehhh. I wouldn't say they handle well bone stock. These things have quite a bit of body roll. BUT suspension parts aren't expensive and REALLY easy to install. Great platform to build on though all around. Sometimes I wish I had IRS, but I'll be ok.
Tim PreisingerJul 05, 2012 I have never driven one, but I heard they can handle decently by a couple people who own one. They also take to mods very well and have good straight line power even stock. I also like the sound of the LS1.
Zack HickmanJul 05, 2012 No offense to anyone but a lot of people (not all) with 4th gen camaros are douche bags. Never was a fan of the generation
Frank DreitleinJul 05, 2012 by the way... worst Camaro ever...
Frank DreitleinJul 05, 2012 hey Abraham..needs more then those for handling. any car can have world class something. it depends on how it's applied that makes it so.
Alex LeeJul 05, 2012 Haha I have a 2001 did a head and cam swap and I'm pushing 500 horses by only spending 1000$ m3 eater do you realize ls1 got voted best engine of the century easy hp with no money
Austin LarkJul 05, 2012 Yeah these cars can handle! I have a 2002 that I'm starting to do some work on but even when it was bone dry stock it could eat those mountain curves up.
Matt PiccoloJul 05, 2012 I doubt that considering I've experienced otherwise but whatever... I don't want to start a huge argument so I'm just gunna let it go
Abraham MendozaJul 05, 2012 Can't handle? Magazines tested these cars, and all say it had world class brakes and suspension.
Ben NortonJul 05, 2012 Chris how about the motor? 5.7 seems pretty muscley too me
Matt PiccoloJul 05, 2012 I forget exactly what happened (I'll post latter) but it would have cost more than the car was worth to fix it
Matt PiccoloJul 05, 2012 Crusher... I think I told that story before lol
Matt PiccoloJul 05, 2012 @ Phillip I havent driven one but I've been in one as I think I told this story before my friends dad had one... He love the thing but even he admitted it couldn't handle... And his had just over 450hp... Then the engine blew and he sent it to the
Phillip GreeneJul 05, 2012 Ha cant handle? Youv obviously never driven on and yeah I actualy like the early fouths better but this a sick car
Matt PiccoloJul 05, 2012 I'm sorry, I don't care if it's a pretty fast car (on the drag strip as it cant handle very well unless u put money into it)but I wouldn't be caught dead driving one of these... They're hideous
Chris PenzaJul 05, 2012 The only thing muscle about this car is the American racing wheels
Cameron Duncan CondyJul 05, 2012 I wouldn't want this. Chevy just recently has gotten my attention. 60's Chevy and 2010's Chevy are the only decent ones. IMO
Phillip GreeneJul 05, 2012 Pretty much anyone who likes loud cars that go fast and look good doin it, I take it youv never owned a real sports car have you
Gary MurphyJul 05, 2012 Who would want to own this?
Stephen CobbsJul 05, 2012 90's Camaros never did it for me.
Phillip GreeneJul 05, 2012 Hell yeah thats the one right there

Abdul AlmozailJul 09, 2012 @puneet Dass As a close friend to the photographer I can assure that these cars are owned by random people. You lost the bet!!
Puneet DassJul 07, 2012 What's the bet all these cars are owned by just 1 sultan or something? Lol
Phillip GreeneJul 06, 2012 No the flat grill with the hidden lights on the sides was an option on the z and ss but thats not what I was refering to
Keenan CasteelJul 06, 2012 Love the classic Camero. My favorite year is the 68, as opposed to the 69.
Abraham MendozaJul 05, 2012 Oh yeah, these are pretty sweet. Z28s, ZL1s, Yenko SYCs, COPOs there are so many reasons to love it.
Tim PreisingerJul 05, 2012 Abraham is right. The 67s had circular blinkers In the grill while the 68s had rectangular blinkers. The 69 (like this one) were different. This was the only year of this exact style. This seems to be most peoples favorite Camaro, including mine!
Mark A. YoungJul 05, 2012 @Josh I was referring to
Camaros in general not this particular model. But you're right probably cause I hate Chevys.
Laguna SecaJul 05, 2012 As of today avg. premium is only $0.78 a gallon in Kuwait city. Perfect place for an 8mpg car, I bet an ev is laughable over there.
Zack HickmanJul 05, 2012 I prefer the 68 to the 69. I don't like that flat wheel arch
Chris PenzaJul 05, 2012 I guess only the 69 ss has a flat grille then
Phillip GreeneJul 05, 2012 Yeah iv always heard they had retractable lights but iv never seen it and iv seen plenty of 69s in person there beautiful cars
Austin LarkJul 05, 2012 The 67's had the triangle window in the front and they got rid of it with te 68 models because of complaints of air leaking through. Both 67 and 68 had the same body line on the side that was lower than this 69's body line.
Zachary MaurerJul 05, 2012 My uncles 67' has retractable headlamps, only one circle, then as I belive smaller ones below that, I really don't see his car with the lights showing though
Josh NegronJul 05, 2012 Classic Z28's a dime a dozen? You must not know your old camaros, mate!
Raad Albar SGJul 05, 2012 yup this is how Arabs do it ;)
Abraham MendozaJul 05, 2012 I think early Camaros had dual circular headlamps, the smaller one being the blinker, then the 68s had a rectangular blinkers...
Phillip GreeneJul 05, 2012 67 68 were not as curved on the sides as this and they had two rectangular fog lamps between the head lights if you cant spot 67 68 are harder to tell apart but yiu should know a 69 within two seconds of seeing it
Patrick SchalkJul 05, 2012 This is a 69. The 67 and 68 had the small triangle window that could open right behind the a pillar.
Chris PenzaJul 05, 2012 Is this a 67 or a 68? It definitely isn't a 69 because the grille is different
Zachary MaurerJul 05, 2012 What do you guys think of a 67' rs/ss?
Mark A. YoungJul 05, 2012 Camaros are a dime a dozen.
Markos PrinceJul 23, 2012 Nice car yo is it Yours cause it's the best in the west
Ovais MirzaJul 07, 2012 Mr. Alwadi I just assumed that because I googled the name and a kuwati mechanic who speailizes in customizing cars came up
Kevin WatsonJul 06, 2012 I like the name in the front, it look badass.
Bobby TeunisJul 06, 2012 Beautiful car it's about time those rich bastards started using their brains an buying American
Patrick SchalkJul 05, 2012 Great pictures man. You are very talented.
Hoang TonJul 05, 2012 btw... no one likes one who brags.
Ebrahim AlawadiJul 05, 2012 and BTW all cars are photographed in Kuwait and Alawadi is not a grage or a tuner shop its my last name and i use it for short form of Awadi Photography
Ebrahim AlawadiJul 05, 2012 Alawadi is the name i use on all my photos as a watermark and the SHELBY its a 2011 GT500 ... thank you all for your comments
Laguna SecaJul 05, 2012 The 2013 had led bars in the headlights, no real grills in the upper/lower grille area and the splitter is huge on the new one. So this lies in 2011-2012. Not that anyone cares.
Tyler ArmijoJul 05, 2012 The name is a photographer it's in all the pictures if you look hard enough you can see it
Matt PiccoloJul 05, 2012 The muscle car I would actually own! Beauty!
Michael PageJul 05, 2012 "awesome car sheik, now let's go drifting in a Toyota Camry!"wtf?
David Liebe HartJul 05, 2012 The alawadi is the photographer, might be a watermark
Ovais MirzaJul 05, 2012 For starters Chris, Dubai is NOT in Kuwait. This is personalized by a car enthusiast/ mechanic
Chris JohnsonJul 05, 2012 "Alawadi" appears again in the last photo, and looks alot like a logo, which makes me think they are perhaps a Dubai based muscle car tuner. Just a guess though.
James Jay PutnamJul 05, 2012 @lee idk but it doesn't take away from the car at all
Jesus Alberto LopezJul 05, 2012 The car's color I would say it's magnificent, heck it even matches the License Plates.
Lee CascioJul 05, 2012 Dis he put his name on the grille?? Wow.
Jimmy BartolottaJul 07, 2012 It's a 71 or 72 Chevelle or El Camino. You need the rest of the car to tell and at least the marker lights to tell the year.
Phillip GreeneJul 05, 2012 I think thats a 71 but yeah I love the 70 the most, this pic is badass though
Mopar or no car.
The majority of the worlds oil comes from the middle east. Their fuel prices are ridiculously cheap. If I lived there I wouldn't care about Mpg
@mikey paid $3.54 in San Jose. It's all about that lucky rewards card!
$4.22 in midland, Texas
@Ashley yea over here in San Jose gas went down to $3.65 .
In northern California it's $3.85 right now for premium.
I like how this comment section is becoming a comparison chart. The gas price in Korea at the moment is about US$2/litre.
I moved from Oklahoma, where I paid like $3.00 in May, to the Chicagoland area where it's like $3.50. And that's cheap.
3.95 in portland, Oregon
It's 2.91 in southeast MO
And our prices have been going up dramatically... A year and a half ago mabye 2 years ago it was 90 cents a liter which is like $3.20 a gallon :(

$2.85 in Auburn, Alabama
wow in France its about 2 euros a liter so about 10 dollars a gallon
$3.04 in Dallas. We're way below

I'm with you Tony...
*looks around* all clear!
Give it time Drew
what? no "i hate america" comments?
