Special Gallardo Celebrates 20 Years of Lamborghini in Hong Kong

Gold-trimmed LP550-2 for China's financial capital

Lamborghini is celebrating 20 years in Hong Kong with a special edition Gallardo LP550-2. The Italian automaker's official dealer Kingsway Cars Ltd. raised the covers off the special edition last night at the Cyberport Arcade, and the limited edition model certainly did not disappoint the enthusiasts and clients on hand. The Lamborghini Gallardo Hong Kong 20th Anniversary Edition wears a Bianco Monocerus white finish and a set of fierce gold Cordelia wheels to match the gilded racing stripes running up the hood.

Matte black touches and 'HK20' logos on the front and rear spoiler along with the side skirts gives the Gallardo an impressive contrast. 'HK20' badging features throughout the special edition's interior, complemented by Q-citura and Alcantara trim on the seats, center console and dashboard. The Gallardo HK20 Edition remains stock under the hood, with a 5.2-liter V10 churning out 550 horsepower. The special edition will be produced in a limited run of only 8 units and carries a price tag of HK$3,680,000 (just short of $475,000 according to today's exchange rates).
