Pretty in Pink Supercars

Not even a Bugatti Veryon can make pink look tough.

It's tough to really make a case for a pink supercar. Part of you may want to applaud its owner for having the bravery to cover something as powerful and eye-catching as a Lamborghini Aventador or Audi R8 in an atypical paint job. However, another part of you may want to ring the neck of the person who ruined a perfectly good supercar by painting it the color of Barbie's dream car. This salmon pink Pagani Zonda C12 Roadster may look delicate, but its soft color belies its true power. This particular C12 Roadster comes equipped with the ‘F' high-performance package. The 7.3-liter engine pushes 602hp and 560 lb-ft of torque thanks to an ECU remap and a new exhaust system. The pretty in pink Pagani does 0 to 60 in 3.6 seconds and tops out at 214 mph. It was sold at auction in 2011 for $451,849.

You can now safely say that you've seen everything after you lay eyes upon this all-pink Audi R8. This pink eye-catcher was spotted in the Netherlands. It is shrouded in mystery, with no one knowing who its owner is or why she (most likely) decided to paint it pink.

Very few people can get away with covering a Lamborghini Aventador in a pink chrome wrap finished with satin. One of the people who can is Qatari prince Nasser al-Thani. The prince's Aventador is more purple than pink, but it's the thought-and the pink chrome underneath-that counts.

A Ferrari 458 Italia covered in matte pink is not nearly as offensive to the eyes as it sounds. Sure it's an oddity, but it's nowhere near as bad as the pink R8 featured above. This pink 458 Italia was spotted in Dubai, officially making the Middle East the go-to region of the world to find pink supercars.
