I have been daydreaming about two S2000 heads on a single block for a while now. Ariel pulled it off with hyabusa motors. Two turbos on low boost... 600+ hp easy!!! Or 3 heads for a W12 layout!!! Ya I think about cars alot...
I'm starting to find LS engines over used in super cars. It's kind of annoying to see every car use the same engine. It takes away a lot in my mind to have a super expensive exotic with a relatively cheap, albeit generally tuned, Chevy motor in it.
I find Yasser's idea quite interesting. A 4.8 VTEC supercharged would be pretty cool
@nick I'll have to check those out. BTW, he did work with lambo on some special projects, then founded his own company that worked with Carbon Fiber, and then founded Pagani
@Danny..it's not like there aren't already many many many high performance cars that use Chevy's engines..oh wait.

@John Pagani uses AMG's engines 'cos Pagani (the guy, not the company) knew some people over at Merc before, who also helped him getting the company started. I don't think they just sell their engines to people.
@danny have you ever heard of a zenvo st1. It's way more try like 750,000+. It has the gm 7.0 that's in the corvette and is putting out over 1000bhp. Gm has some of the best v8's in the world don't knock.
A chevy engine in a $200,000+ car? Is like selling a luxury car with a Suzuki engine for example in $60,000! Wealthy people look for expensive interiors,engines,etc. Not just luxury and high performance.
@Ryan yea since Bimmer has so much experience building supercars.. Haha. Only thing that comes to mind is providing the v12 for the mclaren f1 but they didn't help mclaren design the supercar, just provided a motor after the Honda deal fell through
I know .. Since Honda is known for its super reliable 2.4 VTEC .. Why don't they just merge 2 together and supercharge that sucker .. It's been don't before
Well if you're speaking in terms of production costs, I would say the LSA is a damn good candidate. A Ferrari motor and all that crap would be nice but expensive as hell to actually do. Personally, I'd go with something NA like an LS7, 6.4 Hemi, etc
@nick pagani uses their V12s. I know pagani is in a different league than spyker, but for the right price, I think merc would be glad
I think they should go for a Bimmer engine! Maybe the M5's and in turn Spyker can collaborate with BMW to design a true Super car!
Id love to see a higher output of the Aston Martin V8V's V8, the engine sounds amazing. If they want would something besides the, a NA version of the V12 in the S65 and other "65" AMG models would be great. @thibault they are using the r8 v8 already

As much as I love GM, these cars deserve something that sounds high pitched like a Maserati V8.

the front looks like a mix of an aston martin and the new srt viper, the rear looks like a Melling Hellcat. not the best on looks ... 6/10

Spyker should go away. Nothing about there design elements signifies change or anything that would someday amount to anything. The car looks like a very overpriced Buick

I really hope spiker doesnt fold, their cars are so original and the attention to detail in the whole car is astonishing, the perfomance numbers arnt that impressive but they are really nice cars in the metal
