If you built the jet car then you would clearly understand that even mentioning of tires is not needed. Who cares if it's plastic tires, snow skis, street tires, etc... Tires are not what transfers jet engine power onto pavement to create grip

I wish they would've covered the jet-powered Ford Focus station wagon I built in the late 90's/early naughts. We were able to lay down 228mph on street radials by Toyo Tires. Look up 'Focus This! Jet dragster' on YouTube.
