Fiat Goes Ultra-Retro with 500 Colour Therapy Edition

Fiat is bringing back the spirit of the 70’s with new Colour Therapy trim for its popular retro hatchback.

The original Fiat 500 may have started production in the 1950s, but it was still being built midway through the 70s. And you can bet there were plenty of them on the road when the disco era hit Italy. So to recall that time, Fiat has launched a special edition of its new 500 called Colour Therapy. Available on both the 500 hatch and 500C convertible, the new trim sits between the Pop and Lounge specs and features retro white detailing and, staying true to its moniker, five unique exterior finishes.

The special colors include New Age Cream, Countrypolitan Yellow, Pasodoble Red, Volare Blue and Tech House Grey. The Colour Therapy editions all come with standard features such as air-conditioning, white mirrors and wheels, "poolball" design gear knobs, special key covers and, of course, special paint included. For the estimated £1,000 worth of equipment, Fiat is only charging a premium of £800. Available with either the 0.9-liter TwinAir engine or the 1.2-liter four, the Colour Therapy model starts at £10,760 in the UK and ranges up to £14,510.
