Published: Aug 12, 2012

Some douschebag who always hated on basically every car except a few
Wyatt Gordon Aug 13, 2012
@Jack, who the hell is Dexter Corduroy or whoever?
Jack Howard Aug 13, 2012
Wyatt is becoming Dexter Cordero or whatever what dudes name is.
John Serely Aug 13, 2012
@patrick: If I had to pick between those three, I'd go with the boss then 1LE
Bruce-Almighty Tumblin Aug 13, 2012
@Pat, Boss 302 then the Camaro 1LE
Zeus Mocha Aug 13, 2012
1LE no doubt about it
Jack Howard Aug 13, 2012
Im surprised nobody noticed that Yorlean was 5K off in his 370z pricing.
Andre Bigueur Aug 13, 2012
I would still take the M3 gts though.
Andre Bigueur Aug 13, 2012
The only reason the Boss 302 beat the m3 was because it was a regular m3 vs a stripped down version of the mustang gt. The m3 gts would've been a better choice for comparing what's faster (ford vs BMW), but in the price dept. the boss 302 wins.
Bryan Wesly Pascual Aug 13, 2012
If Suzuki would come one of their own, it would be POS-line
Jacob Viiper McCord Aug 13, 2012
Boss allday everydsy
Oren Blumenstein Aug 13, 2012
the boss 302 is much faster around a track than any of these cars it killed the M3 around the leguna seca raceway
Carlton Salmon Aug 13, 2012
I'd take a 1M over the Nismo 370z in a heartbeat. Plus the fact that all 1000 were sold in a years production have made them a rare and collectable car with values rising as we speak. I'd take mine in black, thanks.
Kent Richardson Aug 13, 2012
Does anybody know if they'll be making a Nismo Maxima?
Patrick Schalk Aug 12, 2012
Yorlean, we are talking about the NISMO 370Z. Get with the program.
Maria Garcia Aug 12, 2012
@patrick, Boss 302 for me. (:
Devin Babyn Aug 12, 2012
Pat I really wish you posted that hours ago. Would of gotten em so rattled
Yorlean Morales Aug 12, 2012
M1 faster but with $50k sticker 370Z cheaper with $28k sticker Now if my math does not fail me, thats an extra $22k in the bank. All adds up to a twin turbo kit + ECU = $12k leaving you with $10k still in the bank and a 370Z TT w/480hp.
Patrick Schalk Aug 12, 2012
So let me ask you guys this. Would you take the 1LE Camaro, Boss 302, or the Nismo 370Z?
Timothy Hooker Aug 12, 2012
if infinity is doing that to the G then I'm sure Nissan will have a Z version
Zaire Wilkins Aug 12, 2012
i think the 2014 G-IPL will be the best bang for your buck around 65k for 530hp and a whole new 3.7 liter V6 twin turbo
Domi Bsaibes Aug 12, 2012
But as much as i love import cars, i take my hat off for the germans anytime. So i'm excited to know that nissan is interested in developping their performance trim
Domi Bsaibes Aug 12, 2012
@ matt, i may be getting a 350z soon so i'm way far from clueless, nismo does performance for track purposes not straight lines purposes. We're talking about horses here but if we pit those 2 cars around a track it'll be an interesting race
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
@ domi, I dot use carbuzz for times cuz they have a lot of incorrect times including the z's.., and if u think the base and nismo are the same, ur clueless cuz the nismo has upgraded brakes, exhaust, suspension...
Chris Kuyumdzhyan Aug 12, 2012
Don't forget about the 30 k mark up on the 1M
Domi Bsaibes Aug 12, 2012
@ matt, according to carbuzz, the 1m costs 46k which is 5k more than the nismo 370z and it's .6 secs faster at 0-60 timing, nismo has done nothing to improve it, stock or nismo it's the same. The difference between stock and nismo is in the 350z only
Zaire Wilkins Aug 12, 2012
ok w.e you guys say you think what you think better if you think an 1M can dust a 370 good for you
Devin Babyn Aug 12, 2012
I would never consider a 1 series even if it had performance like a M3. There damn ugly cars. Probably one of the worst BMW has ever produced.
John Serely Aug 12, 2012
Even if the z could keep up, I'd take a 1M over it without a doubt, and I would also have several other cars over the 370z
Ramaury Rodriguez Aug 12, 2012
370z will dust a 1M is this a joke?
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
How an m1 is 7k more than a nismo, and like 14 k more than a base 370z
Zaire Wilkins Aug 12, 2012
no not a nismo just a regular 370 thats more fair
Zaire Wilkins Aug 12, 2012
what the 1M has 3hp more? from the 370 332hp
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
Connor, I'm pretty sure he wouldnt mistake the other guy racing r not?
Zaire Wilkins Aug 12, 2012
no a 1m cant destory a 370 in turns cause the 370 is lighter
Zaire Wilkins Aug 12, 2012
yeaa only on paper but i just dusted a stock 1m in a stock 370 Z
Kent Richardson Aug 12, 2012
Does anyone know if they'll be making a Nismo version of the maxima?
Paul Gladman Aug 12, 2012
the 1M will destroy a 370z nismo around turns or straightline
Alex Leu Aug 12, 2012
Yeah I thought the BMW 1M was just as quick as a m3
Jack Howard Aug 12, 2012
On paper, the 1M beats the 370z by .7 seconds to 60.
Zaire Wilkins Aug 12, 2012
actually a 370 Z can dust an 1M
Yasser Zahabi Aug 12, 2012
Most of the Japanese in house tunings have gone south which is pretty depressing .. TRD, SPOON, MUGEN,NISMO etc .. As I recall they used to churn out nice rides in the 90s .. A civic was one a fast hatchback .. I really do hope they make a comeback
Timothy Hooker Aug 12, 2012
I don't think a 370 could hang with anything out of M line but it would be nice to see some performance cars in the 40k range
John Jenkins Aug 12, 2012
the 1M would probably crucify the big slow Z. sorry haha
Brandon Lidy Aug 12, 2012
Yeah, not too many competitors in that price/performance range
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
@ domi, the 370z nismo is about 40k? There're no cars from bmw's m devision that cost below 47k and thats the m1 which the 370z could keep up with/beat, and the next is the 55k m3.... Their not suppose to b competing with the m devision or AMG
Domi Bsaibes Aug 12, 2012
They better buff up nismo because it was and still incapabale of facing bmw's m or mercedes's amg. It's more like a camaro with an rs package
Thibault Leroy Aug 12, 2012
Agreed but they need to make it affoardable that would be awesome
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
I'm excited to see what they come up with now! The 370z nismo is already bad ass! I hope they make a nismo gtr! That would be sick!!!!!
Description: The expansion is slated to starting with the Juke Nismo that debuted at Le Mans, and continue to encompass Nismo versions of the Leaf electric vehicle (which was already transformed into the Leaf Nism...

Bruce-Almighty Tumblin Aug 13, 2012
Matt can't catch a break, trying to justify $42K for a NISMO 370Z (personally I don't see it)
Domi Bsaibes Aug 13, 2012
Hp gain from exhausts and air filters depend on which car u're installing them in. Like mercedes and bmw already have factory cold air intake while installing an air filter on an sti or an evo will get u enormous hp gain
No Pistons Aug 13, 2012
I believe a direct same day before and after comparison done by the same exact people in the same exact conditions over a graph posted on a store cite
No Pistons Aug 13, 2012
Lol @ dynos don't lie, the same car can Dyno at 5 different places with all of them being different numbers
Devin Babyn Aug 13, 2012
Brian well my info might be wrong since they didn't test it on v8's but on smaller engines they either gained .5-2hp or actually lost power. This was on a 3 cylinder, a 2.5 turbo and something else turbo
Dan Rather Aug 13, 2012
Only to have thier car seized by the federal government.
Dan Rather Aug 13, 2012
It's really hard to find a legal skyline in the US because it's such a hassle to import one only the 96-98 r33s are legal and they must be converted to obd2. I've heard alot horror of people unknowingly buying skylines with false documentation
Jackson Bond Aug 13, 2012
@abraham skylines are easy to find look on Craigslist and any of the Nissan forums classifieds, gtrs are harder to find than gtst skylines, and a bond released one is even harder... Ok it's hard but who would rather have a z than a skylinne?!
Zachary Maurer Aug 13, 2012
Ahahahah@connor, I actually laughed at that troll molment, but u really want to start somthing don't you, lol
Oren Blumenstein Aug 13, 2012
the dyno doesn't lie
Abraham Mendoza Aug 12, 2012
Losing weight is a good thing, but can be fairly expensive and time consuming. And I have seen CAI give Vettes about 20hp. But they can be illegal.
No Pistons Aug 12, 2012
How about instead of little bolt ons, drop the weight. Or both!
No Pistons Aug 12, 2012
Seriously, I had a net gain of 1.5hp with my AEM and about 10hp with my full exhaust, granted once I do another tune i can get more but a 20hp gain from an intake? That's a negative
Patrick Schalk Aug 12, 2012
You can get 15-20hp with a good CAI. I have a whole book on dyno proven parts for LS engines from CAI, heads, cams, headers, forced induction, and nitrous.
Devin Babyn Aug 12, 2012
There isn't an intake on this planet that can add 20hp to any engine. You'd be fairly lucky to gain 5hp. Don't believe there lies
Bruno Nappa Aug 12, 2012
For 40k give or take. I would rather buy a nice STI. They can out perform a 370z in every way.
Michael Gallagher Aug 12, 2012
Oh. And I love how you all just made this article into what you guys would love to have lol. Good job team. All I am saying, is Nissan needs to actaully make a significant change when they have a "perfoance line". Like the IPL was dumb I think
Michael Gallagher Aug 12, 2012
I love the Z. I never said I didn't. Just making sure we understand that.
Das Stig Aug 12, 2012
I don't know what you guys are arguing about because nismo just lost all of its reputation with the leaf. but, I would also take an e46 for 20 grand and then supercharge or turbo it or maybe even buy an e90 m3 engine and put that in there and the supercharge or turbo that. the options are endless bit I wouldn't pay 40k for a 370.
Mario Callirgos Aug 12, 2012
All new cars are overpriced. I have seen vettes, 911s, and even 348s, for under 45k. I would get a mustang gt over a 370z but I would get a supra or RX7 over a new mustang GT
Ty Piper Aug 12, 2012
Id rather have an e46 m3 in extremely nice shape for 23k give or take and save 20k lol or an evo or sti
Abraham Mendoza Aug 12, 2012
Oh and Matt, the Camaro 1LE isn't that expensive either.
Abraham Mendoza Aug 12, 2012
@Jackson, you make it seem like I could get a skyline anywhere.
Zaire Wilkins Aug 12, 2012
@jhon they are not even in the same class -_-
Zachary Maurer Aug 12, 2012
And nick with the save!
Justin Harris Aug 12, 2012
I've been waiting for a nismo GTR for ages!
Jackson Bond Aug 12, 2012
I love the z, but for that money you could get a real nismo or spec v skyline with a federal title and Bond release ( if it's an r33).. I'd still get the z over whatever crap gm and ford are turning out.. But I might look at the mopar
Nick Sti Aug 12, 2012
Guys shut the f**k up. Arguing your opinions are cars gets you nowhere. I like the 370z but I'll be smart and say there are other options out there (Mustang GT, Genesis, STi, Evo, 135i)
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
@ John, u must not know much about the 370z if ur calling it a slow v6... Ur camaro weighs 600 pounds more than it, give or take, and can handle even close to the same level as a z
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
@ Patrick, I've bought a car buddy lol... And no they get a 20hp boost
Patrick Schalk Aug 12, 2012
Haha Matt I can tell you've never bought a new car. You'll learn little one, you'll learn. Don't think NISMOs have like 5 more hp?
John Jenkins Aug 12, 2012
Zs are big slow v6s. they would NOT keep up with a camaro ss on a track. definitely not in the quarter either.
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
But I geuss everyone had an opinion so yea...
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
Suspension, nismo brakes, new seats and tachometer, badges and more
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
@ Patrick, if it's priced at 42k and ur paying 45k, u really don't know how to negotiate lmao! But srry, I didn't see ur correction, an I think it's well worth the money for more power, a body kit, interior updates, updated dual exaust, upgraded
Patrick Schalk Aug 12, 2012
I guess you didn't see my correction Matt. A Nismo 370 is what? 42k MSRP? That's not including markup and crap. So you're looking at around 45k for it. That's A LOT of room or other stuff. A 1M starts at 46k. I'll take one of those.
Brandon Lidy Aug 12, 2012
Let's end this, and say that all vehicles are overpriced ?
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
@ Patrick, how aren't they, same price as the camaro ss... And around the same performance... The 370 would beat an ss on the track so unless the ss is over priced, the 370z isn't
Patrick Schalk Aug 12, 2012
Correction: I don't think any of the NISMO stuff was worth the money.
Theo Hubbard Aug 12, 2012
Patrick. I've had my 370z for 3 years now. It was damn worth the 32k I spent on it. It out handles the mustang and camaro by a long shot and keeps with them in the quarter mile. And I'm faster than BMW Z4s and Cayman S's
Corey Alan Kelley Aug 12, 2012
Hell no I test drove one just a few days ago and it was well worth the $40k
Patrick Schalk Aug 12, 2012
Matt the Nismo crap was definitely NOT worth the money. None of the Z series were worth what they were priced at. I like em but they were WAY too expensive.
Thibault Leroy Aug 12, 2012
They should make a Nissan GTR nismo RS that would be amazing
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
@ micheal, they havnt even released pricing, how do u know it's not already worth yr money.... I know the current 370 nismo is well worth the money!
Michael Gallagher Aug 12, 2012
Should be more then that. Breaks, suspension, exhaust, reinforced lines, etc. make it worth the money.
Wyatt Gordon Aug 13, 2012
these are disgustingly hideous
Tomas Franquelli Aug 13, 2012
Haters gonna hate. brilliant little car, this is. :-)
Zachary Maurer Aug 13, 2012
@colin, o shi.... And up next the Nissan pube, I mean cube nismo!!!!
Terrance Parker Aug 12, 2012
Ugly, but if it really had 270hp I think I would trash it around!
Jonny Seegmiller Aug 12, 2012
Oh, what up worlds ugliest car
Andy Kleschick Aug 12, 2012
to be honest, the juke-r is the best looking of the three (nismo, r, and regular versions). and it is growing on me too. I think cameras do a bit of a disservice to this car, just like the panamera.
Colin Dzendolet Aug 12, 2012
@Zach, those are the headlights, its only turn markers up by the hood, if they got rid of those, it would be a much better looking car
Puneet Dass Aug 12, 2012
This is one car I used to dislike but it's growing on me
Justin Brest Aug 12, 2012
I'm afraid this is ugly no matter what they do to it
Zachary Maurer Aug 12, 2012
They tried to go with the Asian theme, the small narrow lights, but then the fog lights...
Pablo Herasme Aug 12, 2012
Not bad the wheels and the LED lights make it stand out.
Ashen Fonseka Aug 12, 2012
The back looks way better
Zaire Wilkins Aug 12, 2012
i think it will be on the AWD platform
Brendan Bell Aug 12, 2012
I think this looks promising
Jackson Bond Aug 12, 2012
Still a fwd platform...
John Serely Aug 12, 2012
Eww...I don't like these at all, they look really, really bad IMO. At least the nismo will be sorta fast
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
IMO te Azetec looks way worse than this!
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
That actually looks kinda cool
Taylor Greenfield Aug 12, 2012
Needs dual or quad exhaust!!!
Devin Stair Aug 13, 2012
Yo John I heard you just missed the swagger wagon dog, it's aight though cuz I hear Spencer's is still hiring home slice.
John Jenkins Aug 13, 2012
I dont care about investment value of the car lol ya just gotta have a cool car #1. can that Connor kid even drive yet?
Prince Huang Aug 12, 2012
Saw this in real life
Ray Liu Aug 12, 2012
Talking about investment when global economy crisis surges? Rather talk about cars....
Andy Kleschick Aug 12, 2012
putting money in the bank is good, but only enough to where they'll pay you back for it ( which usually is around 100k). However, doing things like buying stocks and trust funds, etc. can backfire as well. A good investment in my opinion is a car that not only defines you, but that you would actually want to drive (as well as possibly tune).
Bennie Andthe Jets Aug 12, 2012
Put your money in the bank and invest
Jack Howard Aug 12, 2012
I like oranges...BUY ORANGE SODA.
Miguel Flores Aug 12, 2012
I think it looks cool. Why would I want a tesla? I'm not saying I want this car
Terrance Parker Aug 12, 2012
Good looking, I would love to drive it on track day,
Walker Carroll Aug 12, 2012
Soooo wiiiiiiiidddddeeeee
Eric Anthony Aug 29, 2012
Destroyed ? Hah Ok
Matt Piccolo Aug 13, 2012
Zachary, base camaros and mustangs would get destroyed by a z, the gt, as and z are a very fair comparison
Zachary Maurer Aug 13, 2012
Ok, idk how camaros and stangs got into this conversation, but are they really comparable to a 370z? Sure the base ones MIGHT be, but the gt and 1le are v8s, I'm not supporting the 370z but c'mon, let's have a fair comparison here
Terrance Parker Aug 12, 2012
Good looking car. I would love to drive it to though the canyons.
Jt Collier Aug 12, 2012
I had no idea this was an article about stangs and cameros, stop with the fanboy garbage.
Zach Sullivan Aug 12, 2012
I'll agree with that
Yasser Zahabi Aug 12, 2012
And BTW,I have come to really hate mustangs,I love the camaro because its refined,But,IMO,The stang just keeps getting on ure nerves everytime u drive it in town,It's too ghetto. This of course is my opinion and I know I will get killed for it :P
Yasser Zahabi Aug 12, 2012
Okay to settle ure arguments , I have a 2013 gen coupe , a good friend of mine has the 370z .. Both cars are almost exactly the same from 0-160kmh .. Then the 370 starts to really pull .. The camaro SS .. Will cream us lot at least in a straight line
Das Stig Aug 12, 2012
hey, you could always be like me and get an s54 z3 m coupe. it's extremely fast and has amazing handling. I got mine for 19k and its got 333 horsies. plus its a proper manual.
Bruce-Almighty Tumblin Aug 12, 2012
The 370 is a nice car (Matt we know you like Japanese cars so its no surprise you like the Z) everyone has their opinion
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
Oh, now the sti and Evo start at 35.... I thought they were 40.. That might change it... Cuz on a track, they would beat a 370z... Uh idk we all have our opinions
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
And personally, I'd take the z for 32k no dout, theirs no other car for that price that beats it IMO, and for 40, the only NEW car, cuz I agree used, their r some other choices, the Evo comes close to me but nothing else
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
Jw what track did the gt come that close to the m3 And who was it done by? Cuz I find that had to Beleive but idk, I've never seen them compared?
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
Uh u guys do know a Porsche In general would cost WAY more to maintain as insure than a z, gt or ss....
Das Stig Aug 12, 2012
I've seen s2k's for 9k but high miles. my brother bought a black on black ap1 with 55k for 13. you just gotta look.
Zaire Wilkins Aug 12, 2012
but the Z is more rare to me i see to many stangs camys and challengers porches there all like ok and then the Z is just different
Zach Sullivan Aug 12, 2012
I love the z but 40k is a bit steep I think I would go evo or sti wrx or if there is any truth to the rumored sti brz before this
Abraham Mendoza Aug 12, 2012
That's true, the V8 stang with the track pack is only a few tenths behind the M3, I highly doubt the Nismo 370 is faster than the M3, and you get more car with the stang. There's many other cars to get before the Z.
John Serely Aug 12, 2012
Personally, for 40k I would not even consider a 370 lol. I would take a v8 stang or camaro, a used cayman s, 135i/1M before I considered the Z!
Dillon Dixon Aug 12, 2012
The z wouldn't have more storage at all. And Christian, really, only good for a straight line? Um, then why does it keep up with the M3? Get with the times, man.
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
No without the 6k it wouldn't beat the nismo, and when ur buying a 2 door sports car, practicality isn't normally first in mind lol, but the z would have more storage... And how doesn't the z how a true manual... Unless u get the 7- speed auto lol
Cristian Hiraldo Infantes Aug 12, 2012
@Dillon, True manual? They had the first syncro rev that could be turned off, independent suspension, I own a Z its not a car for drag racing, its a proper track car. Not to hate on stangs or camaros but they're only good for a straight line unless you get a Roush with an independent rear. Each car has a its own niche, you can't compare straight line performance with an overall track performance c...
Dillon Dixon Aug 12, 2012
Well then don't put the $6K in it. It'll still beat it. The Mustang also has a true Manual, and is much more practical. And also, the equivalent sport pack for the 370 makes it at $34K.
Abraham Mendoza Aug 12, 2012
You know what, I've never even seen a S2000 for sale, so I couldn't get one if I tried.
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
But that is in Canada, so idk about the us
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
Yea I've seen 00-04 s2ks for 15k, I've even sen some 00-01's for under 10
Abraham Mendoza Aug 12, 2012
I don't ever think you could find a used S2000 for 15 grand. Or a turbocharger for $2000 for a 370.
Vince Cassi Aug 12, 2012
I don't like to compare performance per dollar. What is most important is how fun a car is to drive. A lot of what determines how fun a car is is the car's suspension. I can't say how good the 370z's suspension is, but I can say that mustangs and camaros are lacking in this category, and that is coming from a mustang fan.
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
Or for a better comparison, I'll take a base 370, @ 32k, and throw a turbo on it for 2k and I'll kill ur gt...
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
@ dillon, ok I'll buy a 15k used s2k and put 20k into it and it'll beat the gt... It's just irrelevant to say oh and I'll take this and do this and this and I'll beat that that and that
Abraham Mendoza Aug 12, 2012
Seeing how I'm not going to be at the track every single weekend of my life, I'd want a car that is fun in the 1/4 as well. The Camaro 1LE sounds like a better deal to me. Nismo 370 is a great car, but read that its focused on drifting, I'll die.
Zaire Wilkins Aug 12, 2012
it all comes down to what you like but lets just say you will get more top end with the Z
Zaire Wilkins Aug 12, 2012
omg only if i had a self distruct button for the ppl who post false statements
Dillon Dixon Aug 12, 2012
The Mustang GT is only 300lbs more than the Nismo. Yet it has 70hp more. The GT with the Track Pack is $34K. The Nismo is $40K. Lets put $6K in the GT and then compare.
Maria Garcia Aug 12, 2012
These are cool but I think for the price I rather buy a base 370z with sport package and use the difference in price to play around with. (:
Ashen Fonseka Aug 12, 2012
Soo much better than a heavy ass camari
Zachary Maurer Aug 12, 2012
@matt, just calm down, Adam is a Chevy fanboy, don't give him what he wants.
Joao Batta Aug 12, 2012
I agree with jackson. Both the camaro and the stangs are for rednecks.
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
@ Adam, did u really just say that? Lol u wish
Jackson Bond Aug 12, 2012
Dude if you buy a mustang or a Camaro, you either have to be a girl or have a mullet
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
Please tell me all this tech the camaro had that the z doesnt... Cuz I would bet a lot of money that a camaro can't out handle a z
Joel Hope Aug 12, 2012
Saying a Nissan doesn't have tonnes of technology is like saying bananas come from pineapples. Both statements are false
John Jenkins Aug 12, 2012
matt where do you get these track times for this car? its not all that light and the camaro has tons of technology this car doesnt. I've never seen an impressive lap time by the Z and there are plenty f camaro ones.
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
@ dillon, it's 600 pounds less than an ss and can out run one on a track? Power isn't everything, I don't compare power to price, I compare performance to price... This is well worth the money as is the base 370z which can also out run an ss
Dillon Dixon Aug 12, 2012
It looks good, but it's still a turd. $40K?! Let's see, Mustang GT or Camaro SS with +400HP V8s, or..... A 350hp V6? This isn't worth the money at all. Much to overpriced
chikenbag Aug 12, 2012
that bumper makes it look too much (more) like the 350
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
Yea I agree, and nismo offers 2 diff front bumpers and the Other one looks better, but this Is still sweet
Jt Collier Aug 12, 2012
I miss the fangs
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
Love the 370 nismo!!! So sexy
Zaire Wilkins Aug 12, 2012
i know that thats why i said that
Kyle McCullough Aug 12, 2012
This came out before the maxima, just sayin
Zachary Maurer Aug 12, 2012
Personally I would call him a douche bag, or somthing like that, but...looser...is....ok...I...guess?
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
Calm down ashen, looks are an opinion lol
Ashen Fonseka Aug 12, 2012
@adam shut the hell up u looser
Wyatt Gordon Aug 13, 2012
I'd rather have a Z06, just because its actually pretty good looking. I admit this is a great performance and bang-for-the-buck car, but I just couldnt live with owning it, seeing how ugly it is
Abraham Mendoza Aug 13, 2012
I have also seen some reviews of the Z06 and GTR, and the most recent one done by Motortrend featured Randy Pobst flinging both around willow springs and track data showed the Z06 losing on the straight, but was doing turns quicker. It's just harder to control.
Matt Piccolo Aug 13, 2012
@ brain, idk where ur getting ur info from either cuz I watch/ read multiple reviews about the z06,zr1 and gtr... The zr1 and gtr are much closer than the z06 and gtr
John Jenkins Aug 13, 2012
alpha 12 gtr is my Favorite car behind the agera r. vettes are sexy too.
Dan Rather Aug 13, 2012
The GTR won by something like two tenths of a second if I remember correctly
Dan Rather Aug 13, 2012
In every test I've seen the GTR and the Z06 have been fairly closely matched to each other with the GTR accelerating a little faster from 0-100 and the Z06 going a little faster in the corners. In a motortrend comparison at horse thief mile...
Terrance Parker Aug 12, 2012
Good looking, I would love to drive it through the canyons.
Abraham Mendoza Aug 12, 2012
Yeah both are awesome.
John Serely Aug 12, 2012
Haha personally, I would not want either a zo6 or GTR for the money. 991 for me! Or even a used 997 Turbo or 997 GT3. If I had to pick between the zo6, however, it would be a very tough choice. Both have their advantages and disadvantages
Abraham Mendoza Aug 12, 2012
That's where you're also wrong. the Z06 has damn good balance and is pretty light. You just need to be careful on the throttle.
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
That I actually didn't know, assuming were talking about 100mph + .... I knew the gtr was killer in the corners vs the z06 though
Abraham Mendoza Aug 12, 2012
Ah that's where you're wrong, the GTR will actually pick up speed faster on a Z06, therefore better in the straights.
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
The z06 isn't faster in any comparison I've watched, the zr1, yes, on certain tracks with large straight it is faster
Andy Kleschick Aug 12, 2012
and besides, it isn't always about laps times and acceleration, there is always the safety/fuel consumption side of things to consider too.
Andy Kleschick Aug 12, 2012
ultimately, I dont think most rich people really care, for if they have the money, they will buy a z06, zr1 and a gt-r all at the same time. However, yes there are the people who are both rich and care about brand loyalty/power and all that stuff. and besiddes, who cares? it's not like the person that is going to buy either a vette or gt-r will regularly go to a track to test that theory on which ...
Zach Sullivan Aug 12, 2012
not the z06 the zr1, and camparing lap times between the to is a little tricky the vette is faster in the straights and the gtr is better in the corners so it really depends on wat track ur talking about for example road America would most likely go to the vette and mid Ohio would probably go to the gtr
Kris C. Lopez Aug 12, 2012
I mean sure it performs in ways that boggles minds but the GTR just doesn't get me as excited as opposed to a 911 or an NSX.
Kris C. Lopez Aug 12, 2012
I dont hate the GTR hell I admire the damn thing every time one passes me by on the road but I just can't love it. I wanted to when I first heard about a successor to the Skyline R34 but as the years went by my intrests faded.
Matt Piccolo Aug 12, 2012
@ Ty, a zl1 could NOT keep up with this!! Ahah nice try
Austin Oxner Aug 12, 2012
I don't understand all the hate this car gets. Stock mode or racing. I mean how can you hate a great looking car that can beat anything that's not a Veyron or Koenigsegg (and maybe 1 Porsche) and costs just at or a bit over $100,000?
Ty Piper Aug 12, 2012
I think a camaro zl1 could hang with it, might not beat it tho
Zaire Wilkins Aug 12, 2012
no this is still AWD this still has crazy acceleration
Dillon Dixon Aug 12, 2012
@ashen of course not, but how about a Corvette Racing C6R? I bet it can!
Ashen Fonseka Aug 12, 2012
Hey Adam can a camaro beat this
Matthew Crighton Aug 12, 2012
I dont usually like GT-Rs but this is cool.
Brandon Lidy Aug 12, 2012
No one comments on the GTR ?
