Epic Project Nissan GT-R II Visits the Mining Circle in Arizona

Vivid Racing's GT-R build takes a terrific tour out west.

Since 2001, Vivid Racing has been developing powerful aftermarket versions of some of the world's fastest cars and their latest tuning job of the Nissan GT-R is the epitome of their subtle-yet-experienced work. Dubbed the Project Nissan GT-R II, they took it out west on a tour of the mining circles of Arizona and it looks terrific set against the scenic atmosphere of the desert. As expected from the guys over at Vivid Racing, the Project Nissan GT-R II features plenty of modifications.

Starting with the suspension, the crew lowered the Japanese supercar-killer with a KW Variant 3 Coilover setup. "Godzilla" now sits on a set of big 21-inch three-piece Niche wheels with tinted brushed centers and a gloss black lip, which look and perform great wrapped in a set of Pirelli performance tires. Under the hood, Cobb Accessport has provided an ECU tune for the GT-R's mighty 545 horsepower twin-turbo V6. An Agency Power titanium catback exhaust also enhances the coupe's performance. In order to capture the Project Nissan GT-R II on the road, Vivid Racing needed a powerful workhorse to step in and get the necessary angles.

Thanks to a VF Supercharged BMW M3 with 620hp under the hood, they were able to get the desired shots.
