Roger Federer Serves Up a Winner in the GL-Class
The tennis champion is featured prominently in Mercedes-Benz latest ad campaign.
Roger Federer is the greatest tennis player of his generation (and possibly all-time), winning 16 Major singles titles and setting countless records throughout his career. The Swiss phenom has been called upon by Mercedes-Benz to market their all-new, all-purpose 7-passenger 2013 GL-Class and a better fit would be hard to find. The 2013 Mercedes GL-Class is available with three different powertrains including a turbo V6 and a pair of V8s. The top-end model features a 382hp 5.5-liter V8.
It can move quickly off the line for an SUV and hit 60mph in 6.4 seconds while reaching an electronically-limited top speed of 130mph. It sounds like the perfect SUV for a world-class athlete, tennis icon and dad. Check out the "Many Rogers" ad below.
