Not all pink supercars are designed to shine.

Matte paint on a car is always a good choice. There's something about paint that doesn't shine that is visually captivating. The power of matte paint knows no equal, but its appeal is lessened when the color in question is pink. Pink is a universally reviled color by male gearheads across the globe. However, male gearheads across the globe love supercars. This creates a natural conflict of interest. Do you hate a supercar just because it's painted matte pink or do you love it for what's beneath the paint? You can decide that for yourself below.

What you are looking at is not a Bentley Continental GT. No, the car you see here is the Bentley Vitesse Rose from Mansory. The Germany-based tuning outfit decided it would be a good idea to pour Pepto-Bismol over a Continental GT with a black carbon fiber hood. It's fair to argue that an ultra-luxury car that can do 0 to 60 in 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 197 mph can do no wrong. That argument quickly falls apart once you see the pink and purple interior. Your eyes will bleed.

Hamann was smart enough to know that most "real" car guys hate pink, so it made sure to modify the engine of the Hawk-a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG-accordingly. The gull-winged supercar was given an ECU remap, new manifolds and an upgraded exhaust. The Hawk has 636hp, up from 536hp, and 502 lb-ft of torque, up from 479 lb-ft. The effeminate Hawk can do 0 to 62 in a blistering 3.6 seconds and hit a top speed of 199 mph.

It's really, really bad karma to hate on this matte pink Lamborghini Murcielago. This formerly orange Lambo was covered in a matte pink vinyl wrap in support of Chandon for the Cure, a charity which helps fight breast cancer. The pink Murcielago was designed by Al and Ed's Autosound and was a participant in the 2012 Italian Stampede, a rally for Italian cars from Los Angeles to Monterey, California.

There are a lot of things to knock the Ferrari 458 Italia on. Its steering wheel is ridiculously complex. It seems to catch fire every so often. Despite these faults, at least the 458 Italia hasn't been given a matte pink paint job by incredibly wealthy businessman/sheikh from Dubai.

Little is known about this matte pink Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. What is known is that it has been spotted everywhere from London to Dubai. Is it a tribute to the Hamann Hawk? Is its owner the same person who owns the matte pink 458 Italia? The world may never know.
