The R8 took a MUCH wider line. No wonder the van caught up. R8 driver had no idea what he was doing.
The van looked like he was searching for the dry inside line while the r8 was way outside in the standing water, not sure what the r8 was doing.. So skill wins the day over hp, that's strange lol
Lol, love the little victory spin by the van @ end epic ! Van has more weight on the steering wheels then the Audi. Put that Audi in a nice reverse lock drift and you should carry more speed.
The real reason for this is that the caravan is driven by Vettel while the R8 is driven by Massa...
The Caravan on the other hand is so heavy, that he can pretty much dog that v6 for everything it's got, and he can go through those corners much faster and better than the R8. If it were dry, this would have ended differently, thus the water.
This happens because while the R8 is lighter and more powerful(obviously) it can only use so much power on a wet surface going in circles and pulling lateral g forces or it will indefinitely spin out. In fact if you watch, he almost does once.
Oooook? Wtf... Idk is it cuz the summer tires on the r8 r so bad in the wet or something lol
For all you minivan haters. 1987 dodge caravan 2.5 turbo, 5-speed. Out of the factory. I would very much drive one of those, and play with the boost a little! :)
90s Chevy caprice and Buick roadmaster wagons seat 9 an have the same 5.7 V8 that my suburban has.
People use minivans cAuse they can get good mpg, like Odyssey's 28 mpg freeway.

Mini vans are around for a cheap(er) family hauler that you can easily maneuver and gets good gas mileage, I'm not saying I like them, but I don't think you would want to ruin the leather in a 65,000 suburban

If you guys don't understand why minivans exist go take a huge dump in your pants. They are extremely practical. I don't like them either and wouldn't get one but it's obvious why people buy them.

My mom had a Chrysler Town&Country (rebadged Grand Caravan), and I've never felt more intense hatred for a car as I felt for that turd. So glad it's gone now lol
@Phillip: My mom just bought a new 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan w/Crew Package. It's black. The new ones are very nice with more power than the previous generations.

My Grandmother has a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan, and my cousin has a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport. All Grand Caravans are long and top heavy, which makes them hard to handle and turn around in tight spaces.
My mom use to have one of those vans But now we got a ford focus now
