they made the 959. Then they made the carrera. but somewhere in the time between these 2 cars being introduced, they made this thing. consider your gap bridged.

The GT1 was produced after the 959 and before the GT, thus "bridging" the two models as it was Porsche's fastest model at the time inbetween. They're implying the GT1 succeeded the 959 and was the predecessor to the GT, essentially.

It's a sick car, but they shouldn't have gone with the boxer headlights, shoulda stuck with the normal complete oval versions like on the current 911's (knowing that those were their style then)
