Red Bull F1 Racer Roars Through the Lincoln Tunnel

The F1 Showcar continues its trek around the world this time in NYC.
Professional driver David Coulthard is currently on a world tour with the Red Bull Racing F1 Showcar. He is currently in New York City to complete a few stunts and his latest was set at night in the Lincoln Tunnel.

He has already played the Star-Spangled Banner in front of the Statue of Liberty and the Lincoln Tunnel stunt might be his best yet. Red Bull says DC "No doubt set the record for fastest commute from NYC to New Jersey." The 1.5-mile Lincoln Tunnel was shut down for the stunt and the racer reportedly reached speeds as high as 190mph. So fast in fact that from the POV clip, everything appears to be a blur. The tour is part of Formula One's marketing strategy ahead of the American Grand Prix, set for June of next year in New Jersey.
