America vs. Germany: CTS-V Takes on M3

Here are their short and dirty resumes: the Cadillac CTS-V coupe is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with 556 horsepower while the BMW M3 coupe is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 that produces 414hp. Both are rear-wheel-drive and combine everything great about muscle cars into a supposedly more refined and luxurious package.

We also know that the next-generation M3's V8 will be replaced by a twin-turbo inline-six and, as far as we know so far, the V8 will return in the next CTS-V.
