Really looking forward to more sporty and more dynamic. I had '03, liked it enough to get '07 and still very happy driving it around.
My best friend had a G35 that he traded for his Z06, and I must say, Infiniti makes great cars that are surprisingly fast. He had it for 5 years, was very hard on it all the time, and never once did anything go wrong. We loved that car to death.
@zaire they should make it. and i dont care what anyone says but I'd take this over an m3 anyday
I don't like this car at all, but I can see it for some people. It's a normal car that looks fast, I like fast cars that look fast. I have only seen 2 of these(both with fartcans) so I guess you can be unique if you buy one.
carbon fiber isn't standard god dammit! My cousin has Speed and his has Oak inlays and trim, not carbon fiber! It's an option, you don't need to add it! So seriously Wyatt, chill the f#ck out.

Sounds good to me also. Wish I would have waited for a year or do then got my G. Anyway, they do need to up the power. The torque is kinda low and the weight of the car is kind of outrageous
I will admit they are better than Buick, Lincoln and Acura, but that is all they are better than!
If you like Infiniti more, then fine, I really don't care at all. But, that doesn't mean they are better. Liking them is an opinion. Being better is factual. And The fact is that Infiniti is not better than the Germans, English or Americans!!
And if you think all Infinitis are at the top of their segements, your wrong. IMO, A6, Eclasd, 5>M. 3,C,A4>G. And S,7 and A8> ...oh yea, Infiniti can't make a modern s class competitor! Haha!
They also each have a real performance branch (amg, m, RS) whereas Infiniti has a body kit branch (IPL). Not to mention the (sometimes) dedicated chassis and engines, unlike Infininissan.
And you want an explanation for why the Germans are better than Infiniti? Well, because they actually have a full lineup, they look better (IMO), offer multiple V8 sedans, they don't look like rebadged nissans (g-coupe to Altima coupe etc)...
Oh, and Infiniti isnt really a "full brand". They don't even have cars to compete in all the segments! They don't have a flagship, 4 door coupe, flagship sports car or a flagship sedan!
@king I can tell you haven't seen a BMW interior since the 90s.... And they are not the same, go look at pictures. I'm sorry to break it to you, but your precious Infiniti is not nearly as good as the Germans or caddy or jag!
The main point is..INFINITI IS THE BEST!! Zaire, are they really bringing back the Q? if so that would be the best idea. Infiniti uses their own style, unlike all german interiors looking the same, other than Audi. BMW LOOKS LIKE 1990 INTERIORS!! There's no good explanation why German cars can beat infiniti and why did u bring American cars? Cadillac? There all right but acura is about nothing ...
All have air vents below the dash screen? HAHAHA! There is only 3 places for the vents to be, below, to the side or above! If you think that the place of vents in relation to the screen makes the interior the same, then you dont know anything!
And just because something is different, doesn't mean it is better (look at the top gear segment on the reliant robin)
@zaire I agree caddy has to catch up because they are new to the segment, but BMW merc and audi do not use the same interior, at all
base audis and merc bmws even lexus all have the same interior so this is different and better and caddy has to play catch up
And about the interior, I've sat in all, as Audi beats it, bimmer beats it and merc beats it, but that's just my opinion, your not necessarily right, and I'm not necessarily right either!!
@zaire and king: Going to own 2013-14? On top of the car game? You guys have it all wrong! I guess that is your opinion, but in my opinion, they don't even compare to any of the euro or American cars. Not even close to bimmer, merc or caddy, at all

John, it looks better than a a4,335,is,ats and all other competition. I've driven one and infiniti has the best interior compared to bmw, audi, lexus, and mb..bmw still uses old outdated shit interiors, audi is nice, lexus is nice, and mb is okay. the g37 would beat all its competition in performance as well. why did u tell zaire that it doesn't matter on horsepower when u stated the horsepower. ...
in your opinion its actually alot less boring looking than the IS or the BMW
@zaire I actually think this is the worst looking besides the IS, but its personal preference
I just checked the local dealer, they offer 34000 for a brand new g37, I would like to say this is the best car u get on this price, u don't want a 200hp VW cc ,the 3.6 cc cost u over 40000. Great car, very nice interior.
IS350 only gets 306hp and the 335i gets 300hp but this gets 328hp plus this has the best exhaust note
And that is just speed-wise, IMO, the ones I listed blow it out of the water looks and brand wise, not to mention quality etc.
@king um...the 335i and is350 are both quicker than the g37, so actually you both are wrong
I'm not a fan of these (or infiniti at all). I'd much rather have a 3 series, ATS or a4 (or maybe c300, is250).
Yes but this one looks way better than the last one and it still looks good now, so even if they did that, which I must say I kinda hope they don't, it might still b really nice

328hp rwd but i think they are gonna do a carry over with the next gen G cause they wont let it get more hp than the M37 so we would have to wait till 2016 to get more hp
Also the akebono sport brakes that came with my car are shitaay. They were warped when I bought the car new, and have been warped 3x total,resurfaced twice by the dealer, not replaced...engine sounds good though and decent power for its weight.
Gotta agree with Steve I have an 08 g37s coupe. The trims inside is weak especially the door handles that scratch very easily. The cowl over the gauges is peeling a bit on the edges by the buttons as well. Steering wheel was never on center.......
This is also where they need to make improvements. I had decided to buy a used 2009 335i e92 over the G37, and after a few months sat in the G37... Man, the interior is very plasticky. Very cheap. Nice seats, but that's about it.
lol but this is the luxury version of the 370Z just alot heavier maybe the IPL-G is faster than a stock 370 but the VQ V6's torque suck
I'd mention the 370Z as a competitor for the coupe as well.
