Flymcbean Aug 06, 2012
Will the real owner of Ducati please stand up, please stand up
Jörgen Nilsson Aug 06, 2012
Garrett: You know that the VW-group owns Lamborghini, right?
Garrett Hullender Aug 05, 2012
I'm surprised a small supercar sompany can spend that much money
Jacob Keith Miller Aug 05, 2012
I thought it was cool that they said Audi bought Ducati. But now that they say it was actually Lamborghini, that's awesome!!! It makes me love mine so much more!
Brandon Lidy Aug 05, 2012
That's actually not a bad price
Bruno Rocha Aug 05, 2012
That's a lot of money!
Description: However, in a new report coming from Autoblog and originally scooped by Asphaltandrubber.com, it appears that Audi is not the actual owner of Ducati after all. Lamborghini is. The truth appears to hav...

Wait, VW owns Audi AND Lamborghini... They sold Ducati to themself then?
DeUahn Wells Aug 05, 2012
@serge exactly, they own all of them so I don't really get the point of this article
Kevin Rehbock Aug 05, 2012
This makes sense. Lamborghini can make more supercars while their new bikes keep them compliant with emissions regulations.
Serg Karchevsky Aug 05, 2012
Lamborghini is Owned by VW.
Nick Sti Aug 05, 2012
Now both brands are gonna create more sex on wheels :D
Brandon Lidy Aug 05, 2012
So Audi AG bought it and sold it to Lamborghini for cheaper ?
Mark Donnelly Aug 06, 2012
more like italian cousins now
Yousef Khorsheed Aug 05, 2012
Italian shootout
Description: To clarify this further, Lamborghini is now the formal owner of Ducati and they both fall under Audi's jurisdiction within the VW Group. Basically, Audi purchased Ducati with Lamborghini's m...

Yeah, it's California's emission regulations that screw it all up.
Bijan Jahanpanah Aug 05, 2012
Lamborghini cygnet
Nick Sti Aug 05, 2012
If Lamborghinis are so rare, why do emissions matter? you can't beat the way emission laws are so loosely enforced in the US (except Cali)
Description: By acquiring Ducati, Lamborghini can now cleverly combine the emissions numbers from their high-displacement supercars with a brand whose vehicles burn far fewer emissions. In other words, Lamborghini...

The rich are rich because they pay there attorneys to know the loop holes.
Luke Purdy Aug 06, 2012
I see what you did there...
kolton Aug 06, 2012
Jairo, I am nowhere near being a billionaire and I love this loophole.
kolton Aug 06, 2012
That was clever. Too bad Aston Martin wasn't that smart. Now we have to look at that hideous rebadged Scion iQ.
Ben August Aug 05, 2012
Not so sure it's that effective. Although I'm not familiar with the law noted here, it would be surprising if the law does not differentiate by vehicle type. And if it does not right now, logic suggests it would (should) be changed.
Jairo Garcia Aug 05, 2012
Gotta love them loopholes, right billionaires? Lol
Domi Bsaibes Aug 05, 2012
Such a relief! Keep rolling those v12!
Theviper007 Aug 10, 2012
O.o u seem nice.....
supra_mkiv Aug 06, 2012
No need to prove anything just chill and enjoy the article this is supposed to be entertainment lol
Quinn Conner Aug 06, 2012
What's wrong Abraham? What's the wow factor?
Abraham Mendoza Aug 06, 2012
Wow Quinn, just wow.
Dainius Kuodis Aug 06, 2012
Come on people. They don't tune your bike :D and these maintenance services can cost north of 1000 or much south of it. It really depends on where you take it and what is getting done...
Louis Valdivia Aug 06, 2012
And the real world my friend
Quinn Conner Aug 05, 2012
Whatever. Your just going to let some random kids talk about $7500.00 Maintenence schedules which consist of dynos and recaps of fuel ignition? Have at it! Yup, all is exactly true (sarcasm)
Louis Valdivia Aug 05, 2012
I was asking how the exhaust for the streetfighter sounded dumbass
Quinn Conner Aug 05, 2012
Reread his post. He says his friend changed his exhaust and that it sounds good. This is the reason why he thinks the Maintenence schedule includes a tuning of the fuel maps, bc his friend probably did everything at once. Who's the idiot now? Lol
Louis Valdivia Aug 05, 2012
He wasn't even talking about exhaust in any way dumbass
Quinn Conner Aug 05, 2012
Sure, changing exhaust would be benificial with also changing the tune. But that is NOT part of scheduleded maintenance like you stated. Maintenve is more in the 750 range anyhow, so stop with your theories and fish stories
William Downs Aug 05, 2012
And thats not for every bike but its included along with checking and adjusting your v alves, pulling and checking your cutch disk, and alot of other things, the price is high but your paying to basicaly recondtion your ducati. If not for car payments and rent would have gotten a street fighter
William Downs Aug 05, 2012
Maybe you should go read an article, bike engine is constantly changing after 7500 miles on a bike the factory fuel map and ignition timing is no longer optimal, hence the 1000$ price, like getting your bike dyno tuned, and idk my friend changed his exhaust.day he got it but it does sound amazing
Quinn Conner Aug 05, 2012
Wow bro? Wtf again? Re-tuning of fuel and ignition maps is a scheduled service?? Get your facts straight! that's hilarious!
Louis Valdivia Aug 05, 2012
Hey William is the streetfighter loud?
Louis Valdivia Aug 05, 2012
There's only a diavel carbon
David Pires-Ihsaan Aug 05, 2012
Want a streetfighter carbon soo bad...
Louis Valdivia Aug 05, 2012
Well I guess I will get a streetfighter next year when I get my permit
Louis Valdivia Aug 05, 2012
Damn scared me for awhile
William Downs Aug 05, 2012
Nvm it is the 7500mi an its like 1000$ cause they retune the engine fuel map and ignition, and yes i have 2 friends with monsters and one with a street fighter
Quinn Conner Aug 05, 2012
@william. Why lie? Do you even know anyone with a Ducati? Lol. Your confused. I call bullsh*t on your $7500.00 service interval. I think you actually mean 7500 miles service interval, but you clearly state dollars.
Louis Valdivia Aug 05, 2012
The LEDS IN front are a killer it's sexy
Louis Valdivia Aug 05, 2012
And it's a two seated naked bike right?
Louis Valdivia Aug 05, 2012
Damn I'll still get it.. I mean it is an Italian motorcycle... Or an Aprilia Tuono?
William Downs Aug 05, 2012
idk when i was looking at it guy made sure i knew that.. i think its an engine over haul or just because its a ducati, if it wasnt for that i would have gladly spent the money on the bike
Louis Valdivia Aug 05, 2012
Why is it 7,500?
William Downs Aug 05, 2012
omg i want one so bad but that 7500 dollar service interval is killer, basically a super car of the bike world, everyone i know that has a duc has an older one or trades it in when that service comes around
Louis Valdivia Aug 05, 2012
Getting one next year
Louis Valdivia Aug 05, 2012
Ducati streetfighter<3
Abraham Mendoza Aug 06, 2012
Heey me too. hi five.
Pratik Parija Aug 05, 2012
I see Ducati more like a Ferrari bike because it's Italian & red. Just saying.
