@wmg... Srry maybe the 6 is the most fun but this would b a close second, read ANY review/comparison.... My mom owned 2 accords (I got to drive only 1) and for a 4 door sedan, that thing was a blast with its v6!
@matt i strongly disagree. In terms of driving dynamics, this is pretty much middle of the pack for a fwd sedan. If you want sporty fwd, Mazda is king. The Kia optima is undoubtly sportier/better looking, then again beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
@ Timothy, this looks better than ur freaken optima lol... And this, FOR A FWD SEDAN, is a about as fun and sporty as it gets (driving wise!)

Enough? When was it ever. It's probably the most Reliable cars ever built. U can drive the shit out of it everyday, and guess what it will start up the next day. Im sure after watching A gay movie called fast furious. u all want fast cars
Strategy is not working?, last Time I check Honda sells couple Hundred THOUSAND of accord/civics . It's a daily Driver with great gas mileage. It's so ridiculous reading most of ur comments posted here. Because its not RWD, or AWD. Or it not sporty
What gets me is not that this is a mere refresh, but that Honda is trying to say it's a radical and innovative departure from what they have been putting out in the past!
Although one can consider it an improvment this new design is uninteresting, bland and boring. Honda, you used to be so genuinely cool. Why did you sell out to try to be the auto company for the masses? Your strategy is not working. Please bring your old swagger back. - Will
What ppl don't get is that automakers can make a badass car if they wanted to but they don't have to bcus a brand like Honda know ppl will still buy it just bcus it's an accord. plus they have to save designs for the future
A "reliability" level doesn't make a great car to me.. I'd rather have a car that always had issues rather than a bland boring A-Bmobile..
In all honesty, it sounds like a v8 when it's idling, and this is coming from a v4 turbo

They could've changed the wheels though, they've been using that same design for years. Pretty boring now.
We get so many supercar articles on here that when a normal car (that the 99% can afford) comes up we bash its looks because it doesn't have a spoiler, flared wheel arches, lowered stance and sweeping body lines. I'd give this design an 8/10.
Honda and Toyota screwed up there Accord and Camry but if I had to decide the accord looks a tad better
There used to be a time that Honda made the most interesting and fun affordable sedans in the business. Those days are LONG gone. This is more boring than a Camry.
Can't comment about anything about the car except for its design. And honestly, it's a bad effort on Honda's part in designing this car. It's no different from its predecessor, it looks bland and hopeless when compared to its rivals.

I agree. Reliability is found just about anywhere now days. Honda and Toyota is falling behind big time and especially with design. This car still looks like the 2008-2012 models and they even suck. The coupe was ok but the new fusion look better
who cares about dependability! Ferrari's catch on fire all the time and I'd still give my left nut for one. on here we want fun cars and that's why all our (true buzz fans) say this car sux
imho they need a "si" version of the accord. A turbo or a beefed up v6 would be pretty cool, especially seeing that sport/muscle sedans have really taken off the last few years.

To the other people posting your opinions other peoples opinions. I haven't heard anyone say they aren't a quality car or that its bad looking... just that its boring. It has boring performance and boring looks. This is what "non" car people buy. Its just way to practical for most of us "gear heads" to even consider buying! lol

I really want to like Hondas, but like most on here, I find this latest design disappointing and boring.
If Honda is shooting for reliability here, I will definitely buy one!! I have a '96 accord that has been running for nearly 16 years without any major problems!! If this new accord has good reliability, I don't care about good looking competition
ZZZ...compared to its competitors, this looks as bland as a cardboard box...much rated have an optima or a WRX hatchback, or a passat IF I had to buy a new competitor to this for the $, which I wouldn't lol

Honda has lost his passion. It looks like Hondas are designed by engineers who don't really likes cars, sitting on brown desks with no windows around and no pictures of supercars on their walls... They should let design their cars by designers, not engineers! Hyundai and many other car makers makes more beautiful cars than them today!
Like Honda and Toyota don't like to do any radical changes to their top selling cars, which is why these cars are so boring and nothing special.

This car lacks exiting designs that the Altima And The Camry has. I like the LED Daytime Running lights though

Hondas cars have become so boring these days! I want to find the chief designer of Honda and personally smack him on the head. The s2000, the Japanese civic type R, the nsx were the glorious designs of Honda and were real head turners.

Very boring. I'm tired of car companies being too conservative to appease the masses. That's not what we want! Look at why Hyundai is where they are now, they took a gamble with a striking design that nobody had and it worked. This is boring 'safe' design, just like Toyota , Chevy , and now VW. I hate it
Honda is slipping on innovations(crx, Nsx, s2000).However thier products has a proven track record of resell value, build quality,& reliability unlike its German, American , Korean competitions. Let wait @ see Motortrend, car & driver, ect compare?

Oh wow. If you dropped this on a show room floor 10 years ago, no one would bat an eye. Pretty much the same Honda we've always seen for years. Maybe my impression of Honda is wrong but I was expecting more. Exterior easily outclassed.

the rear is a big improvement at least from them slapping two bars running from the tailights on the 2012 model

Honda really stops making exciting cars since...at least 2006, with the last gen Civic! Almost every single model in their lineup since then are boring...
People with no long term memories forget that Hyaundai has been mimicking Honda design for a couple decades...and this is an evolution of Honda Accord design. There is moderate similarity to the Genesis taillight shape, but here it is a part of the lines of the car, while the Genesis forced the shape into a slab-sided vehicle
The tail light should be smaller and the rear end should be more sharply designed

@ Colby, considering the old one got to 60 in about 5.7 sec, thats VERY fast for a fwd car based off of a family sedan...
