Miguel JimenezSep 18, 2012 @Paul 1996 C1500 pick up with a camper shell.
Paul LissonaSep 14, 2012 Miguel do you have a Tahoe or Suburban?
Zachary MaurerSep 13, 2012 @John, as soon as I got this app, when I was 12, :/, the update came out a day later for commenting, but I didn't have a facebook then
Aaron CrispSep 13, 2012 Hail the CarBuzz veterans!
Tyler Ray DeFordSep 12, 2012 The Viper kicks ass. Plain and simple
John SerelySep 12, 2012 ... Comments. After a while I started commenting, though.
John SerelySep 12, 2012 @jordan yea same here. I got the app right around when it came put. I remember when I got on you could not even comment (wasn't a feature yet). After the update came where you could comment, I never got into cementing, but still read all the ...
Clay WilliamsSep 12, 2012 Ive been hear a while just never felt the need to comment.
Zachary MaurerSep 12, 2012 Idk he kinda came and went, Patrick came into the game a Lill after Andy came in, then I came in a little later, and John Matt And Abraham wernt much behind
Clay WilliamsSep 12, 2012 You know who used to comment all the time? Bill Zoo. What ever happened to that guy?
Matt PiccoloSep 12, 2012 @ John, I don't for some reason my count got reset, idk y?
Jordan SmithSep 12, 2012 If I started commenting when I first got CarBuzz, I'd have a little more than Patrick. I got this app before Andy Rogers started commenting. That was like 2 and a half years ago I think.
John SerelySep 12, 2012 Also Miguel, tony and Abraham.
John SerelySep 12, 2012 @jordan he has over 7,000 comments, so your right. There are a few guys also that have a lot of comments, like Zachary or Matt or some other guys or I guess, me with 3000
Jordan SmithSep 12, 2012 I think Patrick is now official king of CarBuzz.
Zachary MaurerSep 12, 2012 Chill out Adam, it's so easy to piss u off
Zachary MaurerSep 12, 2012 I wasn't arguing with Patrick, Adam the Douche bag
Matt PiccoloSep 12, 2012 Damn I missed out on a good one!
Jordan SmithSep 12, 2012 Well I missed out on this argument.
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 If you break everything down individually of course some cars are going to look similar to others. Even though I don't see it, you have to look at the car as a whole.
John SerelySep 11, 2012 Congrats Patrick!! And your right, Miguel, they are almost always pointless. I read all of them, but seem to miss out on them. I've gotten over a few really stupid ones haha
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 OHhhhhh now I see it. No I don't. Think car does not look like the 599
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 Oh shnapp patrick, you go hardcore on her ;)
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 Haha I troll my wife harder than any of you guys.
Henz HerreroSep 11, 2012 Damn u guys are taking this a too serious.. Lol holy crap..
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 Congrats Patrick, please tell me you don't troll ur wife like u troll matt
Ben NortonSep 11, 2012 I saw two of these up at mid Ohio race track, they sound freaking amazing. One was the reddish whatever and the other was the silver race one
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 I've been enjoying it for awhile now.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 You already missed it tony. I laughed so hard.
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 I told you NP. 0-60 is only a part of it. When your car gets stomped on a track it doesn't matter what your 0-60 is
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 Yeah Aaron, its hilarious to actually predict what happens.
Aaron CrispSep 11, 2012 I always read through this threads. And it's always the same people saying the same thing... But it's like I can't not read it you know??
No PistonsSep 11, 2012 Oh and Matt ive already told you this once before the viper's reliability is actually rated higher then the GTR. You continually show your lack in researching capability
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 I know this off topic but, hot damn the new Cadillac XTS is stunning!
No PistonsSep 11, 2012 Hey pat didn't we talk earlier about how 0-60 was going to be brought up? Lol because obviously 0-60 is what matters in a race right?
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 I wonder if Matt's dumb phone is charged yet...
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Zach I know. @John even tho they're entertaining, they're pointless 99.99% of the time lol.
David JusticeSep 11, 2012 I agree the GTR/Viper is a good comparison, but not more so than the ZR1/Viper (RWD, price, HP, American). Just surprised that the GTR/Viper comparison is getting this type of attention as opposed to the other.
John SerelySep 11, 2012 No!! I keep missing these arguments with Patrick and zachaury and Matt and Miguel!!
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 @ Miguel, lol I was joking ya know
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 @miguel, nah dawg u chillax it brah, I'll just go down to mah brothas and sistas on dat eight mile while you mix it up with my homeboi patrick, brah...sorry I had to do that
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 Lol Patrick, way to come in with a bang, but @ Abraham, awwww ya it did
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 I'm just joking. But for real, I think these cars are absolutely comparable.
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 Ahahahahahahahahahaha there's Patrick! How's it going?!?!
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 You dumbasses ALWAYS compare the Vette to the GTR. Why would the Viper be any different? Of course it competes. It's in the same price range and it's a performance car. A better performance car at that.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 I have no idea what this is about so its totally pointless.
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Matt Patrick did it because he knew you would react like this. (he has mind control over you)
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 2% battery here... Patrick brought up the gtr first, I might b back later
Tyson BroadbentSep 11, 2012 Oh, who would of guessed, another crazy argument on Carbuzz with Connor at the center of it...
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 @ Connor, this is like my first multi comment article in like 2 weeks
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Connor FYI I didn't say you did, but I agree with you about the 911Turbo part.
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 But I'll be back guys, I gotta do my math
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 Ahahahah, I told him to get out of his old Mann chair and say somthing
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 @ Miguel, because Matt is like the top commenter here
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 Cause I go to tiger games all the time, and have to go down 8 mile, but I see just as many $100,000 cars and SUVs, and even a few lambos and ferraris, someone by me has a f430
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @David yup, I don't know why people find it necessary to bring up the GT-R in every Viper and Vette article.
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 @ Matt, it's ok, me and Connor can go at it
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 I didn't say anything about how I know rich people, although I do, I just said that since I live by a wealthy city we are safer than other citys
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Matt my point is you're making stereo types about someone you don't know. Which is pretty stupid if ask me.
David JusticeSep 11, 2012 Am I the only one who thinks the more natural competition to the Viper is the ZR1?
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 Damn, this was actually getting good... But my phone has 3% f**king charge left... :/
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 Nah it wouldn't, but their are a lot of 1990 mercury sables, but like I said, metro Detroit is a good area, not Detroit though
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 I don't know about you guys but over here in Cali we care about trucks.
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 @miguel, ur point... And Zachary... Well all those gangsters need something to carry their 1 tonne bag of weed around in! I don't think that'll fit In a sedan :/
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 And don't you all love arguing on 9/11
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 @ Connor, don't worry, I live near the millionaires houses, we're pretty safe by me
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 And metro Detroit is compleatly redneck -__-
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Matt you sound so intelligent...
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 @ zackary, yes I miss Fordfan too lol... He should like make another account or something! But like we ALL know nothing will get solved here so I'm not wasting my time
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 @ Matt, yep I live right by Canada actually, probably a 20 minuet drive from metro Detroit to the bridge or tunnel
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 Awwwww ya, connor the troll in da house!!!!! And I said that Chrysler is on top in the big three, some European cars a miles ahead of the big three
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 That's good for u, u probably live In a town of red necks who only care about their gay trucks... And probubly spend who knows how much money to keep them goin... Here in canada, I see WAY more accords, camry's etc
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 But this is the entertainment in carbuzz Matt, too bad FORDfan got banned :( we could have had a nice "debate" here
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 Dude all we need is to get Patrick out of his old man chair, and get John in here and we have a party
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 Settled here if we stop now or go on for 167114799269 comments, we'll all still think the same thing
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 I really don't care how many of u there are, but I'm not wasting my time... I know ur all going to say "oh he admitted defeat etc etc" and that's awesome... But unlike u guys I'm not f**kin wasting y time here lol we all know nothing will b
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 Ok, but still Chrysler is probably on the top of the big 3 right now, and beside Matt anything American you say has terrible reliability where in truth I see more 1990 Chevy SUVs and old rams than I do 1990 camery and accords
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 @ Zachary, I never said the gtr was, u said the viper was so I'm asking why u think that... And srt is still a dodge/Chrysler, so it's all included in 1...
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 Hahaha Matt, looks like ur out numbered again, but we can still go at it
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 The GT-R's interior is horrible!
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 @ tony, let's have a rumble, shal we?
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 Ya plus the viper is a NA beast and Nissan can't do crap with a NA and has to use the dick way out and throw turdbos on a pos v6
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 Vettes interior) u obviously don't know what the term ricer means bec it's totally irrelevant to a stock gtr and why does it matter what the engine size/ aspiration is if it beats almost any supercar on sale today?
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 I think it's stupid how you guys argue over opinions.
Tim PreisingerSep 11, 2012 Matt, of COURSE you like the GT-R more... The Viper is American!
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 @ Zachary, actually u don't need to drive a car to say those "specific" things about a car but none of them are true, bec the gtr sounds amazing (I've seen/heard a few) ugh, the gtr's interior is really nice, (if u call it bad though, whats the
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 Idk Matt, how is the gtr meaner and how do u get more out of it, and srt is Chryslers proformance devision, and the get better stuff than the pos dodges
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 Ok they deleted my comment I posted before that one... How is it meaner, how do u get more out of it and with dodges 4th worst reliability ranking out of oh let's see I think it's 36 automakers I'm not sure how long I'd trust that traction control ;)
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 But whatever... I'm not going to get into a huge argument over this so yea...
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 But I've never driven one so I can't say that those are true
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 Ya Matt, no one but motor trend has even driven one in public, so you can't draw conclusions yet either, I could say that the gtr sounds like crap, has a piss poor interior and is the ultimate ricer machine and only duche bags put tt6s in a supercar.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 Well first of all Matt, the Viper is more mean, more manly, you get more out of it, and guess what, TRACTION CONTROL. So you won't die in the rail.
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 And just cuz I know it'll happen... U don't all have to go (patrick) and list reasons y u think I'm wrong lol!
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 I'd take a gtr... Just as quick, looks better (IMO) 4 seats, more truck space, 0-60 IN 2.8 SECONDS! and if u get caught in the rain u won't get killed
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 I don't know what the GTR sounds like.
Jordan SmithSep 11, 2012 Unless your friends are 2 years old, it doesn't make a difference at all.
Henz HerreroSep 11, 2012 I wouldnt say this is a better bang for buck than gt-r.. U can bring your friends in the nissan, this is kinda striclty a weekend car.. Not hating just saying..
Zaire WilkinsSep 11, 2012 there is always that one person
Mario CallirgosSep 11, 2012 Morris!!!! Thats funny man. You are joking right.
John SerelySep 11, 2012 That is a great car. The viper blows the GTR out of the water IMO. And I've read 3 reviews on the viper, and all of them said while it is still a hardcore, raw car, it isn't AS raw as the prev gen.
Kie MorrisSep 11, 2012 I would scrap the Viper and the GT-R and invest in an Audi RS4 where it doesn't demand respect from the driver but commands it from everyone els on the road ;)
Josh NegronSep 11, 2012 I love Vipers too...
But just remember, the new one has electronic "nannies" and controls just like every other car now...
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 No you should compare it to another naturally aspera...oh wait, there are none left!
Zaire WilkinsSep 11, 2012 this shouldnt compare to GT-R at all but the ZR1
Zaire WilkinsSep 11, 2012 the GT-R and this are almost the same price
Lou GuerreroSep 11, 2012 That's why I'm Viper man. I love driving and respect skill.
Dillon DixonSep 11, 2012 That's the whole point of the viper, Lou. The viper has been a man's car. It takes a lot of skill to drive it successfully.
Lou GuerreroSep 11, 2012 On paper but I'm sure the GTR is MUCH easier to be fast in. I love the Viper but it commands ability and respect from the driver. I guess it doesn't matter on a straight tho.
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 Suck it GTR. New bang for the buck car right here.
William DownsSep 14, 2012 @ clay, only place there is fiberglass on the zr1 is the rear bumper and the hood, the rest of the car is carbon fiber and aluminum
Jordan SmithSep 13, 2012 Both the Viper and the ZR1 use carbon fiber and aluminum for around the same prices.
Clay WilliamsSep 13, 2012 The viper uses both of those and is cheaper than the ZR1
Clay WilliamsSep 12, 2012 So is carbon fiber and aluminum isn't to heavy either.
Wyatt GordonSep 12, 2012 better looking than the ZR1, and it's not plastic!
Larry MartinoSep 12, 2012 They were also called ricers because they were significantly slower and very underpowered compared to the cars back then. But today, many cars from Japan can compete and even beat many US cars
Ken KirtlandSep 12, 2012 i would buy a viper over the corvette anyways. even though car enthusiest know when a ZR1 is coming by, others just think, oh a corvette. this car is unmistakable and demands the attention of witnesses.
Sam HarrisSep 12, 2012 Never really liked any of the vipers. But this one I might get used to.
Jayme GorhamSep 11, 2012 I really don't like many American cars, but I freakin' love this viper.
Dillon DixonSep 11, 2012 I would love a GTS with either Red w/white, white w/blue, or Yellow w/black.
Jeff LinkSep 11, 2012 This is nice, I like the red better.
Paul DickeySep 11, 2012 Can't wait to see these driving around.
Chris ClarkSep 11, 2012 Hmmm.... Would be a really tough choice between this color combo and the plain redish one that was on the unveiling car
Description: For comparison's sake, the 2013 Corvette ZR1 runs on a 6.2-liter supercharged V8, which puts out 638hp and 604 lb-ft of torque. Priced at over $113,000, the ZR1 is a more expensive proposition (b...Add Comments89
Mkenya HalisiSep 12, 2012 Jordan, I feel you brother
Mario CallirgosSep 12, 2012 Hahaha Connor. What do you what us to say... When you die nothing happens. And no I almost never quote Dane Cook. He is funny tho.
Jordan SmithSep 12, 2012 Crap. Why did I read all that pointlessness?
Zachary MaurerSep 12, 2012 @ Adam, sorry but I'm not like that
Zeus MochaSep 12, 2012 Damn it the one day I don't get on carbuzz
Zachary MaurerSep 12, 2012 @ Connor, please...shut up, Adam u piss a lot of people too, you guys both have a punchable face.
Matt PiccoloSep 12, 2012 Damn I missed out on a good one!
Ben AugustSep 12, 2012 Conner has some dumbass ideas. Luckily, the internet is boundless, and even more so, I'm guessing the vast majority of readers are in the US, so ... Free Speech. Get over it, or move somewhere that censorship is the norm. Otherwise GTFO his nuts.
Lou GuerreroSep 12, 2012 Not only do I not think this looks anything like a 599. I believe there are only so many ways to do classic sporting lines without looking too radical for our present tastes. This car screams OG GTS and nothing else frankly.
Tyler MichaelsonSep 12, 2012 I'd take this over a GTR and especially over a ZR1 but I'd still take a 911 over this, I know I know it's slower ect... but I just like the 911 best of all cars in this price range.
Daniel EadsSep 12, 2012 Connor, you comment like you have no concept of manners or social skills. this app is for thoughts on cars ONLY so you can zip it about anything else. If you want to talk about religion on the internet, go to YouTube.
Thomas MackeySep 12, 2012 I think Conner wins the dumber than a bag of hammers award. This kid doesn't know a civic from a Bentley.
Tom LopezSep 12, 2012 deff not a copy of the 599 but it
does look alot like the tvr sagaris. google it
Dillon DixonSep 11, 2012 I don't believe you "win" Connor. For one, you seemed to have ignored my comment. If no one bothered with Miguel's comment, then why did you post one that did bother everyone? It was obviously unnecessary.
No PistonsSep 11, 2012 "smarter then you"? I'm sorry but you haven't provided ANYTHING factual. You just get people aggravated, they make a weak point and you follow up with an empty one.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 Thank you clay, that is some real words of wisdom.
Clay WilliamsSep 11, 2012 My point is not all your thoughts need to be shared with the world.
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Connor shit like that is offensive and ignorant, but I guess it's easy to say over the Internet huh?
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 Damn Connor, that was a really really....damn...
Clay WilliamsSep 11, 2012 It's more of a matter of staying on topic not intelligence. Everyone ponders life's mystery, we just don't want to hear you opinion of them on an app about cars.
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Connor I would love to have a debate with you face to face, I bet half the crap you say wouldn't be said.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 Then why are you here, I mean it seems like all you do here is argue with people. I don't even think you enjoy cars.
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Connor I take that you don't have many friends huh? With attitude how do you get by in life?
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 you sound like an ignorant little kid. You just argue for the sake of arguing don't you? If you need attention find yourself a girl friend or boy friend whatever you desire.
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 I was speaking metaphorically you dumbass! Telling yourself you won makes you feel better about yourself huh? Well in the real world you wouldn't the guts to talk the way you do on here. Connor I tried to like you but the more you comment the more
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 I'm not telling you you aren't going anywhere Connor. I'm saying keep using that condescending attitude towards people and see where it gets you. How old are you Connor? 17? 18?
Clay WilliamsSep 11, 2012 There is no winning, only Internet.
Donte PerinoSep 11, 2012 Stop fighting and enjoy the article.
John SerelySep 11, 2012 @connor If I were you, I'd stop now while your not considered a complete dumbass. I'm siding with Miguel on this one.
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 Haha see where than condescending attitude gets you in life Connor. I hope you're not really like that to peoples face because you'd get put in your place pretty quickly.
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 Connor I just wanna punch you right in your suck hole.
Clay WilliamsSep 11, 2012 That's why trolls like Connor exist, for the attention.
Dillon DixonSep 11, 2012 And that's toward Conner. Not Miguel.
Dillon DixonSep 11, 2012 So he said heaven. But you seriously didn't think someone would say something about your comment when you posted it? Really, you know what you were getting into the moment you pressed post.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 But you're critical and literal. You can't take a joke, let alone see one. I mean if I said I'd sell my wife before my car, you'd take it literally even though its a joke.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 My point is that he said a joke, you started a argument that cannot be solved. Duh.
Clay WilliamsSep 11, 2012 Look at the philosophy on this guy. I like cars not because I think there going to heaven with me just because I like them. Everything doesn't need a deeper meaning.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 He brought it up, but you questioned it. He said to trade a place of peace for a nice car, meaning the car is that good. You said its weird to do that, especially if that place of peace may not exist.
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Connor it seems like you spend to much time in doucheology if you try to be little people through an app, people's religious beliefs is personal/none of your business. Do us all a favor and keep that out of this app and stay on subject.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 So you get a kick watching people react to your comments?
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 this tho, cars and religion should be separate.
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Connor it was a joke, wasn't any of you business, and it was still car related so I don't see what you're babbling about? I like you don't know if there's a heaven or hell but I have faith that god will take care of us after death. Let's no get into
Pablo HerasmeSep 11, 2012 Oh no! The C63 extremist are attacking before they attack Bmw HQ lol.
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Connor this a car app take your religious beliefs some where else. @Tony I was being sarcastic, but on Car people are awesome you swear as if the C63 AMG is the god of cars lol!
No PistonsSep 11, 2012 @pablo
I wish! I would be the happiest man alive
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Tony you'd take the C63 AMG coupe over going to heaven...
Pablo HerasmeSep 11, 2012 No Pistons sound like you live in a racetrack
No PistonsSep 11, 2012 I will admit I'm biased though, I don't think in terms of DD I think in terms purely racing, I don't care about creature comforts, or comfort for that matter haha
No PistonsSep 11, 2012 Have fun looking nice (which is subjective btw) losing to the viper (which is actually factually because we have evidence of it)
John SerelySep 11, 2012 I'm going to throw this out there again. Id take a 997GT3!
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 When you have the money for any of these cars I'm sure money isn't a factor but if someone is in the market to buy a Viper or Vette they wouldn't be looking at GT-R and vise versa.
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Connor The GT-R is in a whole different class of the Viper and ZR1. The only thing that is comparable is the price but as far as that there's nothing else you can compare.
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Connor looks are subjective so there's no argument there.
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 A few seconds? try around 10 seconds buddy, believe it or not even a few seconds is a lot on a track. Connor have raced on a track or even been to one?
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 Connor go check the Viper's Nurburgring lap time before make yourself look like an ass.
Daniel EadsSep 11, 2012 Not quite sure how the $100,000 viper compares to the gtr but the ACR and the zr1 you really can't compare to the gtr because of the price difference.
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Tony something like that. @Connor as far as performance the GT-R doesn't hold a candle to The Viper or ZR...
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 Even tho I'm a big Chevy Guy, Viper > ZR1
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 As much as I hate to admit, the Viper Wins against all. I mean, its just better.
Colby ChurchSep 11, 2012 ZR1>Viper. Wait until the videos start to come out and see.
John SerelySep 11, 2012 @miguel I think it was the company that makes ferrari's interiors or supplies their leather or something along those lines
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @No Pistons, I think it was Ferrari who helped design the interior.
Pablo HerasmeSep 11, 2012 @Josh agreed Anyone has to live with a GTR to know it
John SerelySep 11, 2012 But, for me, it would be a tough choice between this and a 997GT3. The GT3 certainly competes with the viper because it is also a RWD, NA, manual tranny track-oriented car for around the same price. I'll have to wait and see about the 991GT3 I guess
John SerelySep 11, 2012 Well, I agree with you Patrick. Viper>GT-R. It (IMO) looks better, is NA, probably sounds better, far better interior, probably more fun to drive and might be faster around the track...
Josh NegronSep 11, 2012 Carlos and Jonny from Motortrend have both said this year that criticizing the GT-R about its "lack of skill required to drive" crap is completely ignorant.
Since they have infinitely more wheel time than any of you--I agree with them.
Pablo HerasmeSep 11, 2012 I'll take both the GTR and Viper
Clay WilliamsSep 11, 2012 The viper and GTR aren't really comparable. The GTR as a perdition machine made for people who take themselves to seriously, while the viper is ridiculous beast for looneys.viper > GTR
Zachary MaurerSep 11, 2012 @matt I love how u reply to piss him off -__-
Mario CallirgosSep 11, 2012 They GTR competes with the viper in the same way the lions compete with the patriots.
Erich EngelSep 11, 2012 650hp for carrera s money? Sounds pretty good but at that point I'd definitely spend 50 more gs on a 911 turbo that could out run just about any hyper car then you can pick up groceries, kids and get 20 mpgs
No PistonsSep 11, 2012 There is nothing to argue, the viper is faster(RWD and NA might I add), more powerful, only a few thousand more, has an interior from the same people that do
Mas and lambo (correct me if I'm wrong) there is nothing to argue ;)
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 @ Patrick, I totally agree its in the same price range and they're competing, but don't deny u know u saying that will begin a huge argument lol... I was just sayin
No PistonsSep 11, 2012 Agreed with pat, GTR can go run and hide in corner, a real car has just emerged and obviously has way more bang for your buck.
Zachary CrowleySep 11, 2012 If you dont have the skill to handle a sports car, GTR is for you. If you want to take the bull by its horns and you have the skill to drive a car, Viper, Vette is for you. Simple as that. Both are fun, just matters how you want to drive
Corey Alan KelleySep 11, 2012 And yea a gt500 is out of this category
It's not even in the same class as a z06 I think
David JusticeSep 11, 2012 Can't wait to see this and the ZR1 battle. Ford should consider a supercar too (new GT?) so all three American automakers can go head-to-head. And no the GT500 is not in this category.
Corey Alan KelleySep 11, 2012 No but seriously I saw a yellow zr1 yesterday.. And it actually left a lot to be desired
See one corvette you've seen them all I guess
Daniel EadsSep 11, 2012 @Tommy, they are way too Heavy to compete. Plus they don't have the best suspension. They could match them in a straight line only.
Aaron CrispSep 11, 2012 Viper>Anything in and under it's price range.
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 It's relevant though. They are in the same price range.
Tommy PlunkertSep 11, 2012 You gotta take into account the new ZL1 and GT500 too, both come in around $60,000 and would give the ZR1 a serious run for its money...
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 Gtr>viper vette, I love how Patrick does that just to start an argument lol
Dillon DixonSep 11, 2012 I still would take the ZR1. Seriously though, this viper is going to be a beast!
Description: The 2013 SRT Viper will be produced at Chrysler's Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit starting this coming November. The plant has served as the home of the Viper since the first model's...Add Comments3
Jacob BurfordNov 24, 2012 If I could have any American car, this would definitely be it!
William DownsSep 14, 2012 No this was all srt, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone from Ferrari had something to do with the body design cause it does share a close resemblance to the berlinetta
Clay WilliamsSep 13, 2012 It's in know way based on anything fiat except for the leather interior.
Mike RalshSep 13, 2012 Could this be an affordable Ferrari since Fiat partnered up?
Clay WilliamsSep 12, 2012 That's true fiat did heal a lot of wounds left by Daimler, I thought you were saying fiat designed the viper when it was all Chrysler.
William DownsSep 12, 2012 We probally wouldn't have this car or have a Chrysler anymore
William DownsSep 12, 2012 Yea they had the idea, then it wasn't financially possible for the companyat the time so they closed the program and didn't restart it till after. Fiat took over, not trying to take away from the viper just saying if not for fiat
Clay WilliamsSep 12, 2012 The the new viper took longer than two years to develop. The prototype was built a year after fiat moved in.
William DownsSep 12, 2012 @clay... No Chrysler killed off the viper, they only brought it back after fiat purchased them, cause then they had the money, viper would be dead along with Chrysler if not for Italian company fiat
Clay WilliamsSep 12, 2012 Chrysler never really stopped. They were Planning the 2013 before prediction stopped.
Larry MartinoSep 12, 2012 Such a nice car I was sad when Chrysler decided to stop viper production. The wheels look like last gens and the paint is the classic GTS color
Ben AugustSep 12, 2012 @ryan: ya, too bad the wheels can't be changed out. Such a shame. Guess those permanent wheels are the only thing standing between you and the Viper.
Wait a minute.....
Michael DavidsonSep 12, 2012 I think it should be lowered about an inch or two.
Darren NardoSep 11, 2012 Every new model year these cars get better looking!
Jackson MichaelSep 11, 2012 I just realized that the side of the car looks a lot like the charger. Is that gonna be a new dodge/SRT cue?
Derek HedtkeSep 11, 2012 mother of god, this looks fantastic
Ryan HavertySep 11, 2012 I am a Huge Viper fan, but I wouldn't choose this wheel option for my Viper! There is something about the design that doesn't do it for me. I feel that it takes away from the overall look of the car.
John SerelySep 12, 2012 I think this is one of the few cars, of at least the prev gen, that looks great (maybe better than stock) with a huge wing
John SerelySep 12, 2012 I saw a pic online of a viper (2013) running around with a blue color. I think it was the same as the launch edition, but with no stripes. It looked great. I really want to see a ACR version soon.
Michael MitnikSep 12, 2012 While I really like the nostalgic look of the blue and white stripes of the GTS. I have to say that this "stock" viper, if it truly is the stock version looks amazing. I think if I had the cash I might go with stock srt viper instead of the GTS
Zachary MaurerSep 12, 2012 @ Larry, ya ik I want snakeskin green and the darker green back too, I think anaconda green is the darker one, but I loved snakeskin green
Clay WilliamsSep 12, 2012 Copperhead was a burnt orange color. Snake skin was the
Green.
Larry MartinoSep 12, 2012 Idk about the yellow i hope they bring back the green. Copperhead i think it was called, right?
William DownsSep 12, 2012 I'm slowly starting to like this car, but damn that grill just ruins that front end for me
Clay WilliamsSep 12, 2012 Patrick- I love the magnum it's by far the best station wagon ever Made. I also love the G8 it's under appreciated in my opinion.
Abraham MendozaSep 12, 2012 I'd love to have a new Chevy SS, 63 Corvette, a Silverado, and....a SLS AMG. That's part of my dream garage.
Patrick SchalkSep 12, 2012 I'll eventually have a G8 GT or SRT8 Magnum as a DD. I love Mopar stuff as well but I can't get away from those LS engines. Eventually I'd like to get an 03-06 Viper though.
Aaron CrispSep 12, 2012 And awesome choices Clay! Mopar or no car huh buddy!
Aaron CrispSep 12, 2012 G8 is an interesting choice Patrick, wish Pontiac wasn't shut down. Really started liking the Aussie captive imports they were bringing in.
Clay WilliamsSep 11, 2012 I've always wanted a 72' cuda' or an old AMC javelin. After the classics I would then buy something practical like a Jeep grand Charokee SRT-8 and finish it of with a Challenger SRT-10. it would be mopar heaven.
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 Haha I'd buy about 4 cars and dump a crap load of money into each. C5 Z06, 1965 Lincoln Continental, Pontiac G8 GT, and a nice Laramie Longhorn Ram 2500 to tow everything with.
Clay WilliamsSep 11, 2012 I agree, if I were handed $200,000 I would seriously consider buying two vipers.
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 I agree with you Clay in terms of design, tech, materials, etc. They definitely are. But that's what I love about the Viper, Vette, GTR, etc. Great bang for the buck.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 Well they're supposed to perform in different worlds. The Viper in a Nurburgring world and the Ferrari in a sort of Italian country side roads.
Clay WilliamsSep 11, 2012 I know when to admit defeat, your right I looked at the numbers and the viper is better in almost every performance aspect, but the statement still stands, the viper and 458 are worlds apart.
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 And I agree with you on the badassery of the Viper. I was just saying performance wise they are closer than everyone thinks despite price, materials, technology, design, etc.
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 Haha when it come to performance cars I would say that speed is pretty important. More so than the others. While I agree that a 458 did have nicer materials than the ACR and more "exotic" styling, that doesn't really reflect performance.
Clay WilliamsSep 11, 2012 Not everything is about speed! I'm just saying the viper and 458 are worlds apart, and by the I actually prefer the viper mostly for is simplistic bad-assness
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 Clay the last ACRs are faster around tracks than the 458. Technology is nice but it's not always the end all be all contributor to speed.
Clay WilliamsSep 11, 2012 In a straight line they may be very similar but the 458 have a lot more technology. Like most Ferraris it is made to be a technical machine of precise engineering. While the viper is just made to "go like stink"
Clay WilliamsSep 11, 2012 It's true the vipers performance numbers are no where near the 458 but if some one thinks the viper is better looking you really can't argue. For instance I think the viper is better looking than a Bugatti despite being on two very different levels.
Dustin LabitSep 11, 2012 So this is the base cars hood? I like this a lot more
Clay WilliamsSep 11, 2012 Yes the base has the hood from the last gen viper while the GTS has the new carbon fiber hood.
Pablo HerasmeSep 11, 2012 For the money THIS is officially Explosion for the buck
John SerelySep 11, 2012 I don't know about the base car's hood. The base car (shown here) has a lot of vents on it, while the GTS's hood (pictured in blue) looks a lot cleaner IMO
Adam WielandSep 11, 2012 Damn that looks sexy in yellow
Michael PageSep 11, 2012 IMO this is the best looking American car currently being made. It rivals the 458's sexiness with good ol' studliness!
Lou GuerreroSep 11, 2012 As I looked at the blue car I was wondering how a yellow would look. It looks great!
Tim PreisingerSep 11, 2012 The hood is the only thing I'm not wild about on this car
Clay WilliamsSep 11, 2012 I actually think I like it better with last gens hood. But the new hood is still very very sexy.
Ben AugustSep 12, 2012 Digging the double-bubble, and the black and yellow really contrast well.
Jon AshleySep 11, 2012 Alright, the base model is the way to go. This looks sweet, and I can do without some of the GTS features. I mean cmon, its a viper!!
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 Agreed, I'm really liking this without that strip of black
Taylor GarrySep 11, 2012 I'll take mine in this color please
William DownsSep 14, 2012 But now the viper has a beautiful interior looks just as crazy as even and is still a beast, I just hope gm doesn't drop the ball with the next corvettes interior, now ford just needs to build a car to compete with the viper and vette
William DownsSep 14, 2012 I dot see why we're fighting, all 3 of te American auto company's have money again to put into there cars, notice how every one is making really nice interiors now, even gm and that was never something they were good at
John SerelySep 13, 2012 That's true Ben, but a lot of other things went on and went into saving Italy besides Chrysler. While they helped, it wasn't near 100% them
Aaron CrispSep 13, 2012 I like Ben's way of thinking. We also saved Japan from war on their homeland... Did we save the Jap automakers?? And the Brits?? And all Germans??
Ben AugustSep 12, 2012 Leap? It's a fact. Chrysler held the contract; the US saved Italy, by default, Chrysler saved Italy. This prick here is talking about how "Italy made the viper" if that's true, Chrysler saved Italy. Fact.
John SerelySep 12, 2012 @ben lol that's quite a leap/assumption/generalization!
Ben AugustSep 12, 2012 One other minor point: Germany invaded Italy in WWII. Since the USA saved Italy's ass, and since it was Chrysler's line that built Sherman tanks, it really means there's no Italy without Chrysler. So ya, Chrysler saved all of Italy, including Fiat.
Kevin BlockleySep 12, 2012 So What if fiat funded the Viper it's engineered & Made in Detroit. Oooh Fiat owns Chrysler,so it makes it less American? Big Deal . GM owns Opel &Holden , so I guess their less German and Australian? Rather say you don't like the car & shutup
Ben AugustSep 12, 2012 Also, using your "hierarchy logic" it means Italians are not Italians, but Amoeba's. So again, using your logic, "go Amoeba's!!"
Ben AugustSep 12, 2012 Point being: all life originated from a single cell, so using your logic...."go single cell! You make great cars woohoo"
Ben AugustSep 12, 2012 @Connor: what's your lineage?
uptownSep 12, 2012 Connor you're a dipshit. It's more like go Sergio Marchionne and American engineering.
Aaron CrispSep 12, 2012 And there goes Abraham's comment. CarBuzz deletes the wrong comments.. You think they'd go after ignorant/religious ones... Nope.
Ty PiperSep 12, 2012 god I hate everything you say Connor.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 Because it Chrysler engineered it. It's like this, the Chef is always praised even though he/she didn't grow and raise the food used in th dish. The farmer did that.
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 Connor are you serious? Didn't Ferrari use GMs suspension for the 458?
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 Hmm, no I don't think that's how it works.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 No because SRT engineered this machine not FIAT.
Aaron CrispSep 11, 2012 Viper always has and always will be bad ass.
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 Connor do you know how many Italian companies are owned by the Germans?
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 Well if FIAT didn't buy them out, Chrysler wouldn't exist. Because Chrysler killed the last gen Viper because of budget issues.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 Like I said, they got the materials, and strengthened an already great design. FIAT didn't design and engineer the car, they just gave them the materials and money.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 That's how the car got 'Ferrari interior". Damn, you're lucky you disarmed that mine you stepped on.
Patrick SchalkSep 11, 2012 Connor of course the 08s are turds. That's pre Fiat. Guess you haven't been in a brand new 300C.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 Actually it does. If components that don't fail on one car are put on another they automaticlly do just because its.. well a Viper? Now that makes total sense Conner you genius!!
Ben NortonSep 11, 2012 It has just the right number of pedals!
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 Yes, the seats aren't the only thing leather, and seats so hold and cradle the driver, which I important.
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 Same leather, same quality, same distributor, different look, different car. If you think the leather would fall apart here than in a Ferrari, I can't help you.
Miguel JimenezSep 11, 2012 @Connor You do know that Fiat recently bought Chrysler right?
Abraham MendozaSep 11, 2012 Ferrari Leather does not fall apart dude. I mean 458 interiors are pretty heat resistant aren't they?
John SerelySep 11, 2012 The interior and looks are thesis reason I would take this over a ZR1
Matt PiccoloSep 11, 2012 I'm liking this, interior quality is competing with the Porsches, gtr, Audi r8 etc in this price range instead of the vette lol
Lou GuerreroSep 11, 2012 Hopefully this interior quality will trickle down to the challenger or successive pony car.
Jeff LinkSep 11, 2012 Vastly improved. Perhaps GM needs to take notes on what they should be doing in the vette and Camaro. Both interiors are so cheap. You pay 100k for a Vette and it still looks like a 20k car inside.
David RecordSep 11, 2012 refinement in a Viper? what is the world coming to?
Erik RudolphSep 11, 2012 The interior has vastly improved
@Paul 1996 C1500 pick up with a camper shell.
Miguel do you have a Tahoe or Suburban?
@John, as soon as I got this app, when I was 12, :/, the update came out a day later for commenting, but I didn't have a facebook then
Hail the CarBuzz veterans!
The Viper kicks ass. Plain and simple
... Comments. After a while I started commenting, though.
@jordan yea same here. I got the app right around when it came put. I remember when I got on you could not even comment (wasn't a feature yet). After the update came where you could comment, I never got into cementing, but still read all the ...
Ive been hear a while just never felt the need to comment.
Idk he kinda came and went, Patrick came into the game a Lill after Andy came in, then I came in a little later, and John Matt And Abraham wernt much behind
You know who used to comment all the time? Bill Zoo. What ever happened to that guy?
@ John, I don't for some reason my count got reset, idk y?
If I started commenting when I first got CarBuzz, I'd have a little more than Patrick. I got this app before Andy Rogers started commenting. That was like 2 and a half years ago I think.
Also Miguel, tony and Abraham.
@jordan he has over 7,000 comments, so your right. There are a few guys also that have a lot of comments, like Zachary or Matt or some other guys or I guess, me with 3000
I think Patrick is now official king of CarBuzz.
Chill out Adam, it's so easy to piss u off
I wasn't arguing with Patrick, Adam the Douche bag
Damn I missed out on a good one!
Well I missed out on this argument.
If you break everything down individually of course some cars are going to look similar to others. Even though I don't see it, you have to look at the car as a whole.
Congrats Patrick!! And your right, Miguel, they are almost always pointless. I read all of them, but seem to miss out on them. I've gotten over a few really stupid ones haha
OHhhhhh now I see it. No I don't. Think car does not look like the 599
HTF did this copy the 599?
But until then Adam....
Oh shnapp patrick, you go hardcore on her ;)
Haha I troll my wife harder than any of you guys.
Damn u guys are taking this a too serious.. Lol holy crap..
Congrats Patrick, please tell me you don't troll ur wife like u troll matt
I saw two of these up at mid Ohio race track, they sound freaking amazing. One was the reddish whatever and the other was the silver race one
@Patrick Congrats man!
I've been enjoying it for awhile now.
You already missed it tony. I laughed so hard.
I told you NP. 0-60 is only a part of it. When your car gets stomped on a track it doesn't matter what your 0-60 is
Yeah Aaron, its hilarious to actually predict what happens.
I always read through this threads. And it's always the same people saying the same thing... But it's like I can't not read it you know??
Oh and Matt ive already told you this once before the viper's reliability is actually rated higher then the GTR. You continually show your lack in researching capability
I know this off topic but, hot damn the new Cadillac XTS is stunning!
Hey pat didn't we talk earlier about how 0-60 was going to be brought up? Lol because obviously 0-60 is what matters in a race right?
I wonder if Matt's dumb phone is charged yet...
@ John, ya be on ur game lol
@Zach I know. @John even tho they're entertaining, they're pointless 99.99% of the time lol.
I agree the GTR/Viper is a good comparison, but not more so than the ZR1/Viper (RWD, price, HP, American). Just surprised that the GTR/Viper comparison is getting this type of attention as opposed to the other.
No!! I keep missing these arguments with Patrick and zachaury and Matt and Miguel!!
@ Miguel, lol I was joking ya know
@Zach calm down tough guy.
@miguel, nah dawg u chillax it brah, I'll just go down to mah brothas and sistas on dat eight mile while you mix it up with my homeboi patrick, brah...sorry I had to do that
Lol Patrick, way to come in with a bang, but @ Abraham, awwww ya it did
I'm just joking. But for real, I think these cars are absolutely comparable.
@Patrick Na foo chill.
Hahahahaha, shit just got real.
Dance for me puppets!!!
Ahahahahahahahahahaha there's Patrick! How's it going?!?!
You dumbasses ALWAYS compare the Vette to the GTR. Why would the Viper be any different? Of course it competes. It's in the same price range and it's a performance car. A better performance car at that.
I have no idea what this is about so its totally pointless.
@Matt Patrick did it because he knew you would react like this. (he has mind control over you)
2% battery here... Patrick brought up the gtr first, I might b back later
Oh, who would of guessed, another crazy argument on Carbuzz with Connor at the center of it...
@ Connor, this is like my first multi comment article in like 2 weeks
@Connor FYI I didn't say you did, but I agree with you about the 911Turbo part.
But I'll be back guys, I gotta do my math
Ahahahah, I told him to get out of his old Mann chair and say somthing
@ Miguel, because Matt is like the top commenter here
Cause I go to tiger games all the time, and have to go down 8 mile, but I see just as many $100,000 cars and SUVs, and even a few lambos and ferraris, someone by me has a f430
@David yup, I don't know why people find it necessary to bring up the GT-R in every Viper and Vette article.
@ Matt, it's ok, me and Connor can go at it
I didn't say anything about how I know rich people, although I do, I just said that since I live by a wealthy city we are safer than other citys
@Matt my point is you're making stereo types about someone you don't know. Which is pretty stupid if ask me.
Am I the only one who thinks the more natural competition to the Viper is the ZR1?
Damn, this was actually getting good... But my phone has 3% f**king charge left... :/
@ Matt, your not ur
Nah it wouldn't, but their are a lot of 1990 mercury sables, but like I said, metro Detroit is a good area, not Detroit though
I don't know about you guys but over here in Cali we care about trucks.
@miguel, ur point... And Zachary... Well all those gangsters need something to carry their 1 tonne bag of weed around in! I don't think that'll fit In a sedan :/
And don't you all love arguing on 9/11
@ Connor, don't worry, I live near the millionaires houses, we're pretty safe by me
@miguel, dude totally, right?
And metro Detroit is compleatly redneck -__-
@Matt you sound so intelligent...
@ zackary, yes I miss Fordfan too lol... He should like make another account or something! But like we ALL know nothing will get solved here so I'm not wasting my time
@ Matt, yep I live right by Canada actually, probably a 20 minuet drive from metro Detroit to the bridge or tunnel
Awwwww ya, connor the troll in da house!!!!! And I said that Chrysler is on top in the big three, some European cars a miles ahead of the big three
That's good for u, u probably live In a town of red necks who only care about their gay trucks... And probubly spend who knows how much money to keep them goin... Here in canada, I see WAY more accords, camry's etc
But this is the entertainment in carbuzz Matt, too bad FORDfan got banned :( we could have had a nice "debate" here
Dude all we need is to get Patrick out of his old man chair, and get John in here and we have a party
Settled here if we stop now or go on for 167114799269 comments, we'll all still think the same thing
I really don't care how many of u there are, but I'm not wasting my time... I know ur all going to say "oh he admitted defeat etc etc" and that's awesome... But unlike u guys I'm not f**kin wasting y time here lol we all know nothing will b
Ok, but still Chrysler is probably on the top of the big 3 right now, and beside Matt anything American you say has terrible reliability where in truth I see more 1990 Chevy SUVs and old rams than I do 1990 camery and accords
@ Zachary, I never said the gtr was, u said the viper was so I'm asking why u think that... And srt is still a dodge/Chrysler, so it's all included in 1...
Hahaha Matt, looks like ur out numbered again, but we can still go at it
The GT-R's interior is horrible!
@ tony, let's have a rumble, shal we?
Ya plus the viper is a NA beast and Nissan can't do crap with a NA and has to use the dick way out and throw turdbos on a pos v6
Vettes interior) u obviously don't know what the term ricer means bec it's totally irrelevant to a stock gtr and why does it matter what the engine size/ aspiration is if it beats almost any supercar on sale today?
I think it's stupid how you guys argue over opinions.
Matt, of COURSE you like the GT-R more... The Viper is American!
@ Zachary, actually u don't need to drive a car to say those "specific" things about a car but none of them are true, bec the gtr sounds amazing (I've seen/heard a few) ugh, the gtr's interior is really nice, (if u call it bad though, whats the
Idk Matt, how is the gtr meaner and how do u get more out of it, and srt is Chryslers proformance devision, and the get better stuff than the pos dodges
Ok they deleted my comment I posted before that one... How is it meaner, how do u get more out of it and with dodges 4th worst reliability ranking out of oh let's see I think it's 36 automakers I'm not sure how long I'd trust that traction control ;)
But whatever... I'm not going to get into a huge argument over this so yea...
But I've never driven one so I can't say that those are true
Ya Matt, no one but motor trend has even driven one in public, so you can't draw conclusions yet either, I could say that the gtr sounds like crap, has a piss poor interior and is the ultimate ricer machine and only duche bags put tt6s in a supercar.
Well first of all Matt, the Viper is more mean, more manly, you get more out of it, and guess what, TRACTION CONTROL. So you won't die in the rail.
And just cuz I know it'll happen... U don't all have to go (patrick) and list reasons y u think I'm wrong lol!
I'd take a gtr... Just as quick, looks better (IMO) 4 seats, more truck space, 0-60 IN 2.8 SECONDS! and if u get caught in the rain u won't get killed
I don't know what the GTR sounds like.
Unless your friends are 2 years old, it doesn't make a difference at all.
I wouldnt say this is a better bang for buck than gt-r.. U can bring your friends in the nissan, this is kinda striclty a weekend car.. Not hating just saying..
there is always that one person
Morris is on drugs
Morris!!!! Thats funny man. You are joking right.
That is a great car. The viper blows the GTR out of the water IMO. And I've read 3 reviews on the viper, and all of them said while it is still a hardcore, raw car, it isn't AS raw as the prev gen.
I would scrap the Viper and the GT-R and invest in an Audi RS4 where it doesn't demand respect from the driver but commands it from everyone els on the road ;)
I love Vipers too... But just remember, the new one has electronic "nannies" and controls just like every other car now...
No you should compare it to another naturally aspera...oh wait, there are none left!
this shouldnt compare to GT-R at all but the ZR1
the GT-R and this are almost the same price
That's why I'm Viper man. I love driving and respect skill.
That's the whole point of the viper, Lou. The viper has been a man's car. It takes a lot of skill to drive it successfully.
On paper but I'm sure the GTR is MUCH easier to be fast in. I love the Viper but it commands ability and respect from the driver. I guess it doesn't matter on a straight tho.
Suck it GTR. New bang for the buck car right here.
