Matt PiccoloSep 15, 2012 1000 hp a stretch on most engines without forged internals... Most cars under 500hp outta the factory should probably have forged internals for 1000hp lol!

Miguel JimenezSep 15, 2012 @Kasey 1,000HP without forged internals? Have fun rebuilding your in engine after 10,000 miles.
Kasey CookSep 15, 2012 I have herd you can get way more than 500 horses with stock internals. I have herd you can reach 1000 hp with only changing the head gasket to a metal thicker gasket. thus dropping your compression a little. Might be hearsay tho

Das StigSep 15, 2012 the engine out of the factory could be boosted up to a little more than 500 horsepower without pouring in forged internals.
