Koenigsegg Unveils Agera R BLT Special Edition

Swedish supercar-maker gets in on the personalization game with its first bespoke Agera R.

Koenigsegg has announced a new personalization service, and this is its first product. Dubbed the Agera R BLT, it was commissioned by a Chinese customer. The one-off supercar may have nothing to do with the sandwich of the same name, but it looks just as tasty. Unfortunately, most of the upgrades have been kept secret. However we do know the exterior features a blue-tinted clear carbon finish with contrasting red highlights for a Spiderman look that would make the Batmobile whince.

The stock five-spoke alloys have been replaced by a new multi-spoke set in a package sure to fetch a premium over the $1.5 million list price. The blue and red theme continues inside, with quilted leather seats, blue highlights around the dash and Alcantara trim on the door panels. The 5.0-liter flex-fuel twin-turbo V8 apparently carries over unchanged with its 1,140 horsepower and 885 lb-ft of torque for a 2.9-second 0-62 time and a 273 mph top speed. "We are thrilled over the result," said Christian von Koenigsegg, "and we hope the customer will like his car as much as we do."
