As easily as you may think. Engine geometry, structure , chasis suspension and gear and power train all play parts I'n delivery so while there both cars there very much different
To add to the power deliver comment earlier, mechanically a v8 is well balanced but not perfectly however a w16 or two opposed v8s are a completely different animal to deal with. Plus the veyron is much heavier ergo power deliver cannot be compared

You can have a rough running engine and get ride of that easily with active motor mounts witch remove engine vibrations, and like I said reviews on a cars ride comfort dosnt mean anything, a car I think is confortable an has a nice ride may not be to
No conor its not, just cause it has more cylinder does not always mean its a smoother ride, ride quality isn't only affected by how many cylinders u have, suspension, tires, weight have a more drastic affect on a cars ride
Vw should let them use the test track, even if they lose the record then the replacement for the veyron will beat it.

I never said it was better, but in my opinion and a lot of others it is a much more beautiful car, it can actually handle a race track at race speeds, and if it can achieve the claimed top speed what exactly does the Bugatti do better then the agera?

Bugatti and VW should take this as a challenge for the next generation Veyron, and quit shying away. I prefer the Agera R anyway.
Well vw could easily charge a fee for use of there track, actually test the Veyron against its contenders in top speed and make money while doing it, but vw is to scared its will looks the top speed record, true or not thats how we all see it
Keonigsegg should find somewhere to test it though. Same with the Hennessy Venom, unless I missed something and they already tested it.
Personally, it makes Bugatti look like they are scared that the Veyron isn't the best. They need to accept the challenge like a man and if their car gets beat, build a faster car. Hiding from them only makes you look weak.

BUT the veyron is extremely overweight, mainly made for the top speed record. The Agera R has that speed, is light, and can pull 1.6 g's... That tiny bit of luxury the veyron has over the agera doesnt balance out everything the agera does better
Just saying putting looks aside, agera is a better handling car, has a 2.7 0-60 time witch is .3 seconds slower using rwd, and makes almost the same horse power using half the cylinders and turbos and also is able to make that power using bio fuel
They didn't use a w16 because they couldn't get that power out of another engine, it provides a smoother ride.
the fact that they got the same or better performance out of an engine with half the cylinders does make it better.... your saying that if some company matched the agera r numbers by using a single turbo 4 cylinder engine you wouldnt be impressed?....

Veyron is just but a "Fast car" They Put a enormous W16 in it as if that wasnt enough slapped not one not two but four....and Agera R did the same thing with half the cylinders

well unlike most hypercars, this doesn't have a big block v8 weighing it down, they get these insane numbers out of a 5.0L small block... it blows my mind
this car is much quicker around corners. thats its main goal is handling not top speed. haha. it just happens to be fast.

@john... Not just the car the whole company, Koenigsegg is a great self made company, there cars are all hand built, from the ground up by them, there beautiful cars and are extremely capable on a track without sacrificing anything

Neat piece of info, the flat spot in the steering wheel is for racing so the driver knows the top of the wheel from the bottom without looking, helps focus more on just driving

look at that superior carbon work, every line matches up from the bumper to the back to the top and to the side wow! theres a video of a guy on youtube who owns three veyrons and one ccxr special edition. and all of his veyrons have holes and scratches he said but the koenigsegg is flawless and much better attention to detail. eat your heart out bugatti
