Everyone’s Favorite Chevrolet Corvette C3

With the imminent arrival of the C7, Chevy continues their Corvette Generations video series with a look at the third-generation models.

The longest running generation of the Corvette cars, the third-generation C3 was introduced in 1968 and ran until 1982.

Along the way a variety of body shapes and special additions were created, more so than for any other generation. In particular, Chevrolet celebrated the Corvette's 25th anniversary with the silver anniversary edition and the 1978 Indy Pace Car replica, two of the most collectable models in the car's history.
