Supercar Showdown: Evo Pits the Vitesse Against the Huayra

Evo Diaries' Harry Metcalfe has driven some of the most expensive, most luxurious and most powerful cars on the planet. The veteran British journo waxed poetically about the character of the Huayra and the sound of the Vitesse. The quick drive in the Pagani Huayra and the walk-around of the Bugatti Vitesse might not be the most thrilling clips you'll ever see, however for in-depth detail and first-hand knowledge of both hypercars, you can't go wrong with Metcalfe's assessments.

Both the Huayra and the Vitesse Roadster carry price tags well north of one million dollars. As a quick refresher, the Huayra is powered by an AMG twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 good for 700 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque. The two-tone Vitesse, in comparison, features an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine with 1,200hp and 1,106lb-ft of torque.
