The shift would be similar to the naming scheme applied by Bentley, whose SUV wears the EXP 9 F name as a prototype, but will get a more dynamic name before it hits the market. Of course Maserati is remaining tight-lipped on what name the final version will adopt, but a list of names said to be in the running include Cinqueporte, Ghibli, Milia and Levante. Whatever it's called, the Maserati SUV will share its platform (and production line) with the
Jeep Grand Cherokee and carry an engine developed (and likely manufactured) by
Ferrari.
