Such an amazing car
Tim Puckett Sep 27, 2012
At the Indy cars and coffee there's a guy with the only HONDA nsx in America
Henz Herrero Sep 27, 2012
I think when you get rid of it at the right time.. You can get a boat load of money for it.. Figuratively of course..
Maaz Khan Sep 27, 2012
Oh yessss, that white NSX type R so perfect! But I love that orange colour aswell, very unique!
Sebastian Grey Sep 27, 2012
Douglas, you HAD?!? Why would get rid of it?!
Matt Piccolo Sep 27, 2012
I REALLY like the white one
Maria Garcia Sep 27, 2012
The white one looks really good. It being a NSX-R doesn't hurt it either. Lol.
Douglas Goncalves Sep 27, 2012
I had a 1992 NSX in white exterior and black interior. Ah fond memories.
Irvin Lester Bautista Oct 30, 2012
Here @ Lyceum enjoying the wifi.
Carlton Salmon Sep 27, 2012
Hey CarBuzz, what happened to the close-up shot of the NSX Type R with the orange late model NSX in the background that was on this page when I posted it hours ago?
Stephen Tyler Learn Sep 27, 2012
Actually they look awesome on red cars as well
Matt Piccolo Sep 27, 2012
@ Patrick, I agree, red brake calipers look good on any car in any color, except maybe a red car
Maria Garcia Sep 27, 2012
Actually if you go back one picture, the white one is a NSX-R.
Maria Garcia Sep 27, 2012
@Carlton, I don't think that's a NSX-R. It doesn't have the spoiler or the two tone color paint job that all NSX-Rs came with. I might be wrong though.
Rohil Chauhan Sep 27, 2012
What a legendary car!
Patrick Schalk Sep 27, 2012
That's good lookin! Also proves my theory that red brake calipers look good on any color of car. Red is the way to go.
Carlton Salmon Sep 27, 2012
The rare and mighty NSX-R!!
Description: Known as the HP-X, the car was powered by a 2.0-liter V6. This engine was replaced by 3.0-liter unit when Honda began working to evolve the design into a more feasible road car. This was done because ...

That's a light car!
Julyots Dominguez May 17, 2013
I Have That In Nitro Nation Drag Racing!!
Anthony Sanderson Sep 28, 2012
Yes it's the gt I've just got some bolt ons and it's chipped ,full exhaust and some other stuff that the guy before me did which I've only had this car a little while and dont know all he did
Mario Callirgos Sep 28, 2012
Wow so your mustang could prolly keep up, on the drag strip anyway! How did you get the hp boost?
Patrick Schalk Sep 28, 2012
*wasn't. Stupid IPhone. Wasn't being a douche. What year is it?
Anthony Sanderson Sep 28, 2012
Right now I'm at 370 horsepower with mine
Patrick Schalk Sep 28, 2012
I'm not upset, but like Matt said, this car is very light so it didn't need a crazy amount of hp. BTW I was being a douche when I said this car would prob keep up with your Stang. BTW what are the specs on yours?
Anthony Sanderson Sep 28, 2012
Well I'm sorry for upsetting anyone.
Dan Rather Sep 28, 2012
Because they were at a closer price point.
Dan Rather Sep 28, 2012
Also car buzzes comparison with corvette sales wasn't really fair because an NSX in 1994 msrp was around 72k and a corvette started at 33k in 1994. So they are obviously going to be lower volume. A better comparison would probably be with the C4 ZR1
Matt Piccolo Sep 28, 2012
Anthony, u do know the nsx weighted under 2900 pounds, so it didn't need 2033718hp
Devin Babyn Sep 28, 2012
Anthony none of us got even remotely personal in that one. You're new, you might learn or maybe you'll just get banned before then. Also there's nothing wrong with the mustang. Yes it's got nothing on the NSX but it's still a good car
Dan Rather Sep 28, 2012
Only sold 206 NSX
Dan Rather Sep 28, 2012
Among other things the sales figure on car buzz is wrong 9000 is the US sales figure 18,000 is the total amount that were sold and if you look at the sales figures it sold fairly well until the early 2000's highlighted by 2004 when they
Anthony Sanderson Sep 28, 2012
And Dan read the article it says it was not a commercial success.
Anthony Sanderson Sep 28, 2012
Ly but didn't have the power to back it up.
Anthony Sanderson Sep 28, 2012
Jacob I don't think I said the nsx was terrible Maby you should actually read my post instead of just speaking. Why does everyone feel the need to make things persanol with me holy Moses the nsx had a big price tag for a car that could handle amazing
Dan Rather Sep 28, 2012
@Anthony how was the NSX not a commercial success it did very well thus as to why they produced it for 14 years. It didn't sell we'll towards the end of its life span but that's common for alot of cars.
Jacob Mullner Sep 28, 2012
Anthony stop being a c!nt. What's the point of coming and rambling on about how terrible you think the nsx was? And second, the car you have pictured is a damn mustang....now those are crap compared to the nsx...just "my opinion" though
Serg Karchevsky Sep 28, 2012
Honda is Honda. Civics are their future not sports cars.
Patrick Schalk Sep 28, 2012
This car was very influential in it's time. Kind of like the F40 but on a smaller scale. I like the NSX and understand why they are sought after. Having an opinion on this doesn't make it a fact Anthony. I'm sure this could keep up with that Mustang
Anthony Sanderson Sep 27, 2012
And that is a good amount of horsepower. The nsx is considerable weak. I'm talking of the old one an not the new one.
Anthony Sanderson Sep 27, 2012
I would say those two cars are epic but not this one and you do know that it's your opinion that the nsx is epic not a fact right cause I don't think you have a right to down my opinion with your own. The two cars you mentioned had one big difference
Mario Callirgos Sep 27, 2012
Anthony do you know what other cars were commercial failures the Original Shelby Cobra and the XJ220. I hope we can agree that those cars are epic. If not well good luck on this app bud.
Devin Babyn Sep 27, 2012
Anyone who knows cars doesn't give a shit about commercial success. Just because men having their mid life crisis didn't look JDM does't factor in an way how amazing of a vehicle this was
Anthony Sanderson Sep 27, 2012
There are reasons why this car was not a commercial success.
Devin Babyn Sep 27, 2012
I was actually saying that for Anthony. I wouldn't waste my time with you. Comparing the NSX to the Carrera GT is pretty damn idiotic
Devin Babyn Sep 27, 2012
If you know (yes "know" not think) the NSX isn't one of the greatest cars made in the past few decades then you don't know much about cars
Joshua Minh Tran Sep 27, 2012
CARRERA GT does not have a fixed spoiler. It's spoiler rises as it increases in speed
Zaire Wilkins Sep 27, 2012
yikes ontop of that he cant spell. plus why is he comparing a sports car to a 2004 supercar
Tim Puckett Sep 27, 2012
@erich if u think this car is gay or soft you're an idiot and this came out way before the Carara gt and it was way cheaper
Anthony Sanderson Sep 27, 2012
Hope you enjoy your new ride it will be a nice car unlike the old one. And I'm glad your x5 can beat my car your such a better person than me. I'm in aww
Anthony Sanderson Sep 27, 2012
Lol dhruv the new one is a new beast but its what you like but do not think that it's the fastest car in the world.
Anthony Sanderson Sep 27, 2012
I did just cause it helped another car doesn't mean this one is awesome. It is your opinion that this car is impressive and it's mine that it is not.
Brady Fereday Sep 27, 2012
And how can you say it's not impressive when mclaren use it to develop the f1 how about you read the article and than make a that same comment
Brady Fereday Sep 27, 2012
Anthony the NSX was say better than you think I saw on an episode of top gear where it beat the vette in the quarter and was still pulling on it
Anthony Sanderson Sep 27, 2012
Dhruv you've gotta calm down this car is a good car just not impressive. Congradulations on wasting your money on one.
Zaire Wilkins Sep 27, 2012
this is the car that made ferrari straighten up
Anthony Sanderson Sep 27, 2012
Why you gotta get your panties in a bunch lol and your assuming people haven't drove the car.
Anthony Sanderson Sep 27, 2012
These cars were never that impressive.
Jimmy Bartolotta Sep 27, 2012
Always liked the older models with the pop up headlights
尤品敦 Sep 27, 2012
Type T How cool is it!
Matt Piccolo Sep 27, 2012
I agree! That's a sick color
Maaz Khan Sep 27, 2012

Kevin Carlin Sep 27, 2012
I actually like this a lot
Jason Brower Sep 27, 2012
@brandon Those aren't intakes. This car was mid engined, those are cooling ducts.
Greg Kenerly Sep 27, 2012
Someone tell Avery what a ricer is. This is a TUNER. A ricer would have stickers all over it with an oversized, nonfunctional wing on the back. It doesn't bother me you don't like it. Just don't be carracist.
Anthony Bartolone Sep 27, 2012
@matt piccolo. You're right. They are from a celica. They are identical to the headlights on my girl's '02 celica.
Avery Williams Sep 27, 2012
That's the definition of riced. Why ruin a perfect car?
Carlton Salmon Sep 27, 2012
Would look much better if it were all in one colour. Maybe in the light metallic blue as used on the late model NSXs...
John Jenkins Sep 27, 2012
I don't even mind this. looks kinda like the p1
Patrick Schalk Sep 27, 2012
It should be rare because it looks awful.
Matt Piccolo Sep 27, 2012
Not a fan at all... The lights look like they came off a celica
Christopher LikeaBoss Reber Sep 27, 2012
@dhruv it's because veilside made the fortune body kit for the rx-7 and the nsx
Riley Di Pol Sep 27, 2012
That's the veilside kit very rare
Clay Williams Sep 27, 2012
It would be much better without all the black bits
Zack Hartman Sep 27, 2012
@dhruv I though this WAS the Mona Lisa haha
Tevin Xko Davis Sep 27, 2012
Lil much but still amazing
Patrick Schalk Sep 27, 2012
Too much goin on here. That lip on the wheels looks terrible.

I was never very fond if the NSX, but could you imagine a car with that kind of handling with V10 power? OMG!!!
Shelby Cassandra Sep 27, 2012
V10 NSX would be my favorite Asian car by far!
Jordan Jackson Sep 27, 2012
An NSX with a V10 you say? They should have done it if they wanted to compete with the viper
Roger Cheng Dec 15, 2012
I just brought one
Maaz Khan Sep 27, 2012
Imagine if the economy didn't go bad and they released something similar to this!
Stephen Tyler Learn Sep 27, 2012
I'm glad they decided not to use the this rear. It looks like a smashed crz
Description: The production version isn't expected until 2015, although all questions about power remain unanswered. We're looking forward to a new NSX, although it will have quite a legacy to live up to...

I like the flying buttresses (rear pillars), just like on the 599
Zaire Wilkins Sep 27, 2012
its acura's signature why would it be different just like lexus has the pinched spindle grill
Carlton Salmon Sep 27, 2012
I still don't like the beak design of the grille
Zaire Wilkins Sep 27, 2012
your right honda is making an all gas NSX and acura is getting the hybrid
Maaz Khan Sep 27, 2012
This hybrid NSX is gonna be awesome, but I hope Honda makes a non hybrid version of it, because I'd prefer that
Matt Piccolo Sep 27, 2012
Love this thing in red
Jay Jammage Sep 28, 2012
Aston one-77 rear rights
Matt Piccolo Sep 27, 2012
I'm in love with the rear!
