@ Colby, u r right, at high speeds a zr1 would pull a gtr, but it wouldn't pull away from it THAT quickly unless ur talking 140-150+... Anywhere from 60-140 a gtr will keep with a zr1 fairly well
@michael, there is no difference between a 2010zr1 and a 2013 so it don't matter what year, needs a Better driver
That's nowhere near a good run for the ZR1. And a 2010 vs a 2013 GTR? The sane year ZR1 would be much closer or even win. It's just simply a better car than the Nissan.
From a roll though or on the interstate at high speeds, the ZR1 will pull really hard on a GT-R. The GT-R has the 0-60 down pat though. That AWD is quick. But at higher speeds and with the right driver, the ZR1 takes the cake.
The gtr should still win though which hurts me since I'm a vette guy I think the gtr can run like a 10.8 to the zr1s 11.3

I wouldn't trust them still but I would deffinatly give them a chance, competition drives this industry and the more competition there is making great products the better and faster the industry grows, witch is great for us
I guess,but thats probally because I'm not really biased towards any car company, like if Daewoo came back with a car that looked really nice and had some proof they weren't junk anymore I wouldn't bash them because of there past

Gtr = high tech rocket Vette = bare bones rocket Both can lay down amazing lap times and demand respect, plus they don't cost a fortune to buy or maintain
@william I think your correct when you say they are 2 of the most hated (performance cars only). But, they also have most the fanboys, for sure!
@Colby church, I completely agree with you, I'm a GTR guy but I give the Corvette zr1 mad respect for what it can do with how little it costs...I suppose people just hate on these two cars cause they're not the norm and breaking the status quo

The most hated car is probably the civic because of people who cant see past american v8s and turning left so Honda must be doing something right.
So far my koup has been the funnest fwd car I have ever driven, it's has gobs of grip in the corners and didnt cost much and is fully loaded, ill give any car the benefit or a dought don't care who makes the car. But i want to get a c5 as my next DD
People underestimate a lot of cars because of past reputation or just because of what others say, as a true gear head every car that comes out I judge it from that car, not the company's past, I have Kia a shot cause I liked the way it looked
People under estimate both of them and they prove themselves again and again to be capable and lethal competitors in the auto industry compared to their rivals, and they are both affordable super cars and deserve recognition for their accomplishments
come to love both of them in time. It's all about the spark of interest, and some just haven't had the spark to respect certain automobiles for what they truly are capable of. Both are amazing, crazy fast cars and will go down in history as such.
@ William Agreed. I'm a Vette guy and I also like GT-Rs and people are hating on these two cars more than any others. Everyone has reasons for liking what they do, and I think if people tried, they could understand other people's reasons and

I like it to, fits its machine personality, just does its job to the T, always loved the skyline/gtr family, from day one they have always just did what they were built to do exceptionally well and this one is no exception
It can compete with just about anything out there. That's definitely not over rated
How are they over rated, they do everything they we're designed to do, it's not over rated it does its job perfectly, an over rated car would be one that's claims all this and that's and does it all half ass

As a general statement no the times arent godly, but for what it is yes it's a godly time
Well, I also don't think really high 8's is "godly". Don't get me wrong, it's a great time for a street car. Probably wont loose too many stop light battles. But I still wouldn't call that "godly".
How many of them cars running 6seconds are still drivable on the street and reliable at the same time, that number is probally more close to zero, this does 8 seconds and is still a reliable street car
@TN. It isn't really a production car. It's a highly tuned version of one. I wasn't denying they're great times but tuned cars have been known to run around 6s. Nothing about a high 8 say godly to me.
@TN I absolutely agree...a dragster shouldn't be compared to a production car....it defies all logic, that's like me comparing a F1's quarter mile to a road legal car.

Godly is too strong of a word to use. An 8 second 1/4 is awesome but top fuel dragsters run godly 1/4s.
