Lamborghini Gallardo SOHO by DMC

New tuning program transforms the pre-facelifted Gallardo into a LP570 lookalike.

As Lamborghini prepares to halt production of the Gallardo in preparation for the arrival of an all-new model, expected to arrive next year, DMC has gone to work on an early, pre-facelifted model. The German tuner calls its result SOHO.

Based on the Gallardo Spyder, which is still looking mighty fine at eight years old, the DMC SOHO has adopted certain elements from the new LP570 model, namely the front bumper, side diffusers, massive rear wing and a new rear fascia with oversized diffuser.

Its aggressive look is further accentuated by the dark grey paintjob and alloys, tinted windows, and smoked lights. Customers desiring an upscale cabin can order leather upholstery with carbon-fiber trim, while enhanced performance can also be arranged. The tuner will modify the V10 engine for an extra 40 horsepower and 22 pound-feet of torque, giving the supercar a new top speed of 200 mph. By fitting a new stainless-steel exhaust system complete with a new metallic catalytic converter, DMC squeezes out another 28 hp and 37 lb-ft of torque... along with a more sonorous soundtrack.
