The can't film at high speeds because the cars they use for filming are vans and SUVs and they can't do the same things that a sports car can
This car, the 2JZ engine, and the Maserati V8 are the best sounds in my opinion. There are many, many others very close, but these have just the slightest edge above the others.

You can say what you want about how terrible these movies are but being a car guy you've gotta admit that the cars they use are usually pretty awesome. Not much of a ricer myself but the GTR is not a ricer in my opinion

@ben actually ben, correct me of I'm wrong but I doubt that you have the extra $96,000 the get a BASE gtr right now so before you call it "cheap" you should do your reseach whether you like the car or not....

Haha Johnny is right on this one.. Most people would be fawning over this if it was for use in the Super GT series. But people on Carbuzz conform to hating anything designated "fast & furious", as they believe it represents ricers (it does, really).
I KNOW for a fact 95% would've said this is beautiful and the greatest thing on earth if it was some new GT3 car. It's functional and looks good. I agree the gills look old but they do something and that's good enough for me.

The lines may not look so good in still pictures, but they'll look great in action shots in the movie.

@Tom sure the wing is VERY large but The front of this benspora kit provides ample enough downforce to somewhat balance it out. Now if one were to fully balance the car, foward canards on it's front bumper would work nicely.
Function over form. It may not appeal to everyone, but the BenSopra kit is the lightest and most functional kit out there for a GTR. There's a reason it's ugly, because it works.
That's why the back is usually higher then the front, not to mention the motor is up front and there is aero pieces at the front also
Tara, I think you may be right about it being attached way back and low but when you get that far back you run the risk of the rear tires becoming a fulcrum pivot point and the top wheels coming off the ground a bit and losing turning capabilities.
How much you wanna bet that outside of it shifting 10 times or more in the race sequence that fire will come out of the back when he hits the NOS button! Classic FF action!
If they race it in a professional racing series and add sponsors to the car it will fit in, otherwise this thing looks ridiculous in the streets
I could be wrong but the spoiler is attached to the unibody at the lowest point in order to get more leverage for downforce

Wtf? These guys are idiots. They took an amazing car and pissed all over it. I wasn't going to see the movie anyway but this nails it home.
Spoiler coming out from the rear of the car looks terrible. I don't know if that's to achieve more downforce at a position further back on the car but either way it's awkward and hideous IMO.

This is the most functional bodykit ever fitted to a car that will feature or has ever featured in a F&F movie.
The gills feed air and extract heat from the tires and brakes even that little indent in front of the rear wheels looks like it probably was put there to cool the tires or something. It would look odd on the streets but it'd look great on a racetrack
