I know the 140s was fwd, but they should make it rwd and give it a turbo 4 or a nice peppy v6.. that was a very nice design for Chevy and shouldnt go to waste

Hopefully it'll be a little detuned in order to match the segment specs so it won't take much to uncork its true potential... I.e. the vw's 2.0 tfsi motor.
I think they should use the volt's power train with a slightly more able engine to get around 200bhp
The reason that people buy BMW M cars is because it takes the boring and adds up fun(HP) now come one Government motors set up a fun division like M and make people interested in your cars again no one wants a 150hp car that looks like I pooped out
Keep the 150 hp and lower the price to 16-18k for your average buyer.... Then release an SS version with beefed up performance and looks and sell that for 25-30k
Yea but this class isn't focused on power. It's focused on a balanced, handling car. So um we will see how Chevy does with that.
Needs the 2.0t ecotec engine used in other GM cars. Of course, they may not make it as powerful as say a Regal GS lest they take buyers away from the Camaro.

140hp... Come one at least 225 or even 200. The main complaint about that brz/frs is that its underpowered
RWD and a turbo 4 with similar power to the turbo cobalt and this car would be a blast to drive. GM could probably get that done for around the price of the current BRZ. 150 HP won't cut in when the competitors already have that beat by quite a bit.
I'm a Gt86 fan but this could be good. Just use 1,6 engine from Corsa OPC! 150hp is not much

I actually like this.. Except for the front end, which could use some work. It's basically a smaller camaro. If they rework the front end I think it'll look better and get good sales

The rear of this concept looks smashed in . Like was already said this is just a concept and the actual production car would only borrow styling cues from the concept car .

I don't like the back. The tru140s should be made RWD and given the production green light.
I can already tell it will have a way higher center of gravity, making the car feel less sporty than the toyobaru. The toyobaru looks way sleeker too
Knowing GM, the final product will be 8/10th of what it should be. I like the concept and know they can pull it off but they often mess it up by the time the accountants are finished with it.

If ford had a Front engines, RWD, 2 seater sports coupe that's lightweight, has a nice design and a powerful engine, and an affordable price range. That would get Ford major spotlight if they made a halo car to compete with Corvette and Viper.
